I’ve been getting skunked at the pier since I moved in to this area. Thanks for the explanation.

Great video! Question...what about winds and current that oppose each other? Which to fish by? Thanks

Stumbled upon this after getting skunked for the first time on fishing a rising tide. For the past several months my friend and I have had consistent fishing results fishing on a rising tide at a local wharf. Last night, we were greeted by a "small craft advisory" and had plenty of off shore winds blasting us in the faces the entire time. My friend caught 1 bullhead/sculpin and that was about it. We normally are pulling in 20+ each on a night. Could the offshore winds have negatively impacted our fishing experience?
