How Tissues Get Oxygen (Internal Respiration)

In this video, I will differentiate oxyhemoglobin from deoxyhemoglobin, and explain the factors that affect the attraction/affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen molecule, and the reason that hemoglobin is willing to release oxygen to the tissue cells when blood flows through the systemic capillaries. Throughout the process of internal/tissue respiration, I will explain the role of carbon dioxide, hydrogen ion, bisphosphoglycerate, and temperature in assisting hemoglobin to release the oxygen molecule to the tissue cells.
