How to: 2006 Hummer H3 TPMS Re-learn / Reprogram Procedure (Works with other H3 Years as well)

Instructions on how to set the Hummer H3 in Relearn Mode:
1. Raise the Tire pressure of each tire to 35-37psi
2. Engage the E-brake / Foot brake
3. (Do not start the vehicle) Switch the Key into the "On" Position.
4. Using the headlight switch, Switch from "Auto" to "O" to "Auto" four times
** if you do this correctly, the H3 will "honk" two times
5. In clockwise order, starting with the front driver side tire, release some air, until you hear a beep or "honk"
6. When you hear the "honk" that tire has been relearned. Proceed to the next wheel (Front passenger tire, Rear passenger tire, rear driver tire.)
7. Once you do all the tires, turn off the car. This will save and exit the relearn mode.
You may have to repeat this once or twice to get it correctly.
If one of the tires do not get recognized during the steps, that tire might be out of battery. You will need to get the whole TPMS sensor replaced.

So even though the spare has a sensor, you don’t let air out and sync it?

Hello for the H3, I do not think the spare has a tpms sensor. That extra tpms sensor might cause GM to go over budget. Lol. Thank you for watching and subscribing! -Rjeff H2H

@@How2Helen My 2007 H3 has a TPMS sensor on the spare. Do I fill the spare to 36 psi and let the air out in sequence? LF, RF, RR, SPARE, LR, RF?

Hello. Apologies, we honestly don’t know. You would need an actual GM technician to confirm if the tpms module will save 5 sensors in the system. Sorry, no help - Rjeff H2H
