How To Add Cars In Gta IV instead Of Replacing Them !!!!Super Easy.....Must Watch (Voice Tutorial)

Now im gona show u how to add cars in gta 4 not replace them wit other cars..!!!
Before doing anything make sure your game version is 1.0.7.0 or u may face crashes and invalid car error. You can download the patch from here gestyy.com/qCKrfD
Oh....One more important thing.....U have to click on the edit mode on the top of the Open iv main screen....or u will not be able to make any changes in newveh image file....!!!Or just Press F4 in the main screen and set the Default work mod to Edit..!!
rename ur wtd & wft car file to whatever u want....just don't use space..!!

I used to be able to make added cars all the time in 2014 way before this video came out but on 1.0.8.0 I've tried adding a BMW M3 E36 and VW Golf VR6 MK3 as added cars. Both just say "Unable to spawn requested car, please check model." This is the GTA IV on Steam as well. I personally do not know what to do as I've already checked if any of the names were mistyped or anything in every file (including the models themselves). I'm using a scripthook which works for 1.0.8.0 and Simple Native Trainer v6.5. If someone could guide me through I would appreciate that, this tutorial is a little bit confusing to begin with and I can't find any older tutorials on how to do this anymore. Thanks in advance.

Right click on it, go to properties and then remove the tick mark from the check box "read only". You're good to go.

Hi Kelvin, I know this video is a lil old, But I've been playing GTA 4 for a while now and good job with the tutorial man. I found the current problem like yours, crashing several seconds after loading. I found that it concerns with newhandling.dat which was put in default.dat. I still don't know how to fix that. I replied your question 4 years late xD sorry for the late :3

no it will work as long as u change the name of the car(in vehicle/handling and other config lines) to the car u r adding and its really hard to believe(actually its impossible) that npcs are driving the car u added because the only way to get the car u added is by spawning it and only way to make the added car available to the npcs is by adding and tweeking the game files and confg files(which is totally different from the steps I've showed in the vedio)
