One thing to note is that King's giant swing has a 1+2 break animation but is actually a 1 break

@law6800 it has a unique 1 break animation the left arm is still extended more then the right but slightly less then all other 1 breaks but you do have a point

Is breaking throws inconsistent in this game, I watched a replay of my match where the guy was doing nothing but throwing, i was breaking with the right buttons but it wasnt working, i checked the replay and i broke every throw he threw, but for some reason i didnt get the break

@jaycooper3058 it could be possible the throw was on counter hit reducing the break window or lag could of been a factor in the match assuming your were breaking the throw correctly but throw breaking is very consistent if the player is doing so properly I can't see ur replay but online does affect are inputs

Can vouch for the fact that lag MAJORLY affects throwbreak consistency. I consistently break 1 or 2 throws offline, but cannot for the life of me do that online sometimes.

Throws on counter are 7 or 8 frame windows I believe, if you are say spamming a button and get grabbed its a good chance your button got accepted as your throw break so that can mess you up too. Side throws are also different breaks 1 for left 2 for right. Then you have characters with command grabs that have specific breaks. But in general you have like a good 18 frames or so to break a grab so sometimes being just a little patient helps
