I know you’re mucking around but for real (anyone who struggles with maths) watch the khan academy maths for your grade. Will learn more I. 20 minutes than you would from your maths teacher in a month.

@@MrZZsharkaThat's an overstatement, really bad one. It highly depends on the teacher I have had a great math teacher in high school, she would not fall short of doing as good as any online teachings

I happen to be great at this, but my only success seems to be on the spot. I am abhorrent at studying and "doing the work". Putting in the grind is something I have had to learn and struggle with. It's so fascinating and eye opening to see how we all function differently. Pressure makes me wake up, having the time or moment gives me time to rest or sleep. Pausing is when I lose train of thought.

My biggest challenges are 1. Speaking impromptu in front of authorities in the workplace (being put on the spot to give an update or an idea) and 2. I’m a contractor so I leave and start new jobs regularly and I always get flustered when I’m put on the spot to introduce myself and ‘tell the team something about myself’ In these scenarios I can’t THINK and my voice shakes. And I feel like I’m never truly being myself in the workplace because I’m so in my head.

I had that too and I sat and prepared 3 introductions for different situations. memorised them (almost) and I feel more in control now

Maube thats a stupid request but can you make a video on how to speak on a date ? I know , I know 😂 but this is a context and we want to be charming , mesmerising , be prepared for a stupid questions like what’s most stupid thing you did (where we can laugh and have fun) but how about questions about past relationships or having children or some 5 year plan ? When you have to be more serious, it’s important topic and you have to stress out your opinion which might not be liked by the other side but be respectful and gentle but confident ?

I really enjoyed this video-thank you for sharing! I’d love to hear your thoughts on how to handle a situation where someone is talking too much on the phone. Without visual cues, it can be challenging to know when to interrupt. How would you approach this in an audio-only context? I am specifically interested in how this could be handled in a phone sales situation.

Thanks for giving me the tools to deal with passionate unaware people that lack social skills !! 7:05 I’ve got a story that still pisses me off as I wish I knew how to deal with it. I was talking to a talent acquisition hirer and actual getting to know the person at a talk and was connecting with them as they were very interesting ! A guy butts in and asked the most surface level dumb question as if they were trying to perform and show off!! So that’s takes the hirer’s attention off me and the guy is tone deaf proceeds to sit down and crosses his leg as the hirer was standing and listening as politely as they could . I stared daggers into the guy, as I am in awe and pissed at how oblivious you can be . I now know how to intersect the guy and call them out for beginning disrespectful politely with this final piece of information. If a similar situation were to ever occur again I’ll be able to politely point out and defend the other party from an awfully awkward situation . Your advice overlaps with Chis Voss advice of the last impression is the lasting impression !
