Thank you for showing how to create without expensive tools! Made my first ring and it’s not perfect but neither am I 😂 Time to practice now!

Use clear packing tape. The CA will not stick to it. Another helpful tip. :)

What accelerant do you use?

We typically use an aerosol spray like we carry on this page. shopdreamwood.com/collections/glues-and-accelerator

Hey guys, what is the durabilisty of CA? i made my own wedding rings with rosewood and i applied about 8 layers of CA. Do You know how many years does it last? Or should i fix it periodically? Is the UV resin more durable?
@DreamwoodRings2 жыл бұрын
Hey! I love the flex CA more than the UV resin personally. I think if you are keeping it out of water, hand sanitizer, other chemicals and physical activities your CA finish will last a long time.

All the videos I've watched of making rings and I still can't figure out how anybody does it without getting glue all over their fingers.

O there are definitely days I get what feels like a whole bottle on my fingers! 🤣

Don't use the accelerator on your bare hands, u end up soaking in a bunch of stuff you don't want in your body. That goes for all the CA on your hands 🥴 A little is fine, but all day everyday isn't healthy. Good idea for a video series 👍
