Don't be embarrassed. The instructions are garbage. Nothing's labeled. I came here to figure it out as my package came a little damaged and I am already missing things. Pretty sure someone got this and then returned it. I'm a little flustered... All that said, this helped tremendously and now I have it put together and I know exactly what I'm missing. Thank you so much! PS- I have extra bolts that are not in this video or the manual. I have no idea what happened to my package. Haha.

That's amazing! Four months of procrastination and this young man showed me how to assemble this in in 8 minute video! However, I do have four stainless steel bolts left over. These aren't the bolts that hold the compound miter saw to the rigid bracket. Those are still in the harden plastic case like he showed at the end. Any suggestions as to what these bolts go to?

Well done video. Glad to see the next generation involved with assembly. After assembling mine, I had an issue withe rubber bumpers that the stand rests on in the upright position. The bumpers are not very durable, they will tear away from their mounted location if you rotate the stand loaded with the saw in the upright position.

@@VansWorld If you buy there battery-powered tools, they all have a lifetime warranty and free battery replacement. I have had my kit for over 10 years and have replaced my batteries once. The same company that owns ridgid owns Ryobi and Milwaukee too. Also Ridgid headquarters are right here in South Carolina haha.
