I am an ex homosexual man, former alcoholic, ex drug addict, was addicted to porn, anything immoral, anything addictive. I had no self worth, living self destructive. Now even through there are trials, there is a peace where before I only had shame and guilt. My sins were many but Christ has forgiven them all. If you struggle with sin, don’t give up. @@jamestempleton553 yeah I grew up in the church, gave my heart to the Lord when I was 5, attended a Christian school. After high school I started drinking and doing drugs partly to suppress feelings. Shortly after I came out and went full force into the lifestyle. The Lord brought me out of it 12 years ago and I couldn’t be more thankful. It’s definitely a destructive lifestyle. The enemy wanted my destruction but God had other plans for me. God bless!

Same here, I came out at 15/16, and lived as a gay man for 35 years. I was saved in 1991 by reading the Bible (after my lover had died of AIDS), but I didn't know how to reconcile my faith & sexuality, nor did I know how to get help from the church. So I fell back into the LGBT life until 2014, when I had supernatural intervention and walked away from that identity. Then the Lord removed my same-sex desires in 2017 with a deliverance experience. So now I find myself in the company of many ex-gay believers, trying to stand on the truth in this toxic culture. God bless you in your walk of faith!

Cancelled mom, here. 2 daughters have bought into the “trans” movement, and now none of our 4 children will speak to me, as I am now deemed “unsafe” for refusing to use pronouns or use their made-up names. I let them know that I have loved them unconditionally thus far, and will love them unconditionally no matter what choices they make. I didn’t lie to them while I was raising them, and I won’t lie to them now, even though they demand I do so. They have the freedom to make choices I wouldn’t want for them, however I am told I do not have the freedom to disagree. Truth is now rejected as “hate”, even when love is clearly demonstrated. Count the cost, indeed. ✝️

As a parent of two adult children who we raised in the faith, but now have embraced all of the far left ideology and Christian deconstruction… The pain is truly beyond description. You were right on when you highlighted the fact that the church and we as parents did miss the mark in allowing our children to hang out in goofy seeker friendly youth groups, instead of focusing on teaching/modeling to them the essential value of reading the whole word of God and allowing them to challenge it and let it prove itself. God have mercy on us all and draw us closer to authentic faith and to true salvation. Absolutely love and deeply appreciate your ministry Beckett.

Per the question of young folks being drawn to progressive (promiscuous) churches; My experience as a mom raising my sons in the 90’s; they were already systematically taught political and religious lies from as early as year 4. Now it starts in nursery school. I recall my little ones telling me what their teachers were saying; the material was purposefully, systematically teaching against biblical truths.

Thank you so much for this interview Becket! It was exactly the encouragement I needed to stand up for the truth but do so in a loving way - so hard in this upside down world we now live in. I have a small KZbin channel and one of my subs just came out as trans on one of his videos. But he seemed desperately confused and looking for validation. While all the comments left for him were all the typical “Be yourself”, “Just be you” etc, I could not bring myself to do the same as it would totally go against my beliefs and conscience. I also knew that if my comment involved me mentioning God or my Christian faith, I’d probably get canceled as his subscribers (we share some mutual ones) would likely hop onto my channel and start trolling me. So I simply wrote that I would pray he would find peace, comfort, acceptance and clarity and that he was loved no matter what. He responded well to my comment but I can’t help but feel a bit of a coward for not talking about my faith. I’m taking tiny steps…. Praying God will fill me with courage to use my channel to share my faith more. Thank you again for your ministry. I watch your videos every day. 🙏🏻💕💕

I had no idea what to expect when I clicked on this video. I was surprised to hear so much spoken about homosexuality and how to Biblically deal with it. I have a cousin (Japanese no less) who hid his sexual preference from family for decades, not only because back in the early 60's, it wasn't acceptable, but also because my cousin is the only son. He and his partner, though never legally married, have been together longer than almost every couple I know. But it has been painfully obvious that they have never been truly happy. My younger sister moved back home (Honolulu) after she retired and as a Christian woman, has been challenged with how best to witness to them. She and I pray that they can be reached before it's too late. Thank you so much for the honesty you both presented. Blunt but loving and Biblical. God bless you both.

He's powerful because, like Becket, he left that sinful life for the best reason: Jesus. He gave the absolute best reason for not attending a gay ceremony! He's right it's not a social event. It's a celebration and confirmation of God's word and love for man. Just loved this particular show.

Also, Paul talks about it being a "mystery" as it reflects Christ and the church. Talk about a holy institution!! While I found the entire episode worthwhile to listen to because the interview hits on several issues Christians today are facing and / or need to contemplate to prepare the days ahead, in my humble opinion, the most important part of this episode starts at 52:30 when Joe speaks of the importance of fellowship and most importantly intimacy with Jesus. This is my great passion...to see every believer walk in the intimacy Jesus paid for us to be able to have with Himself, God the Father and the Holy Spirit. "Do I really want to win people, or do I want to win my argument with people?" That is an amazing statement that we just need to let sink in. Why do we get so offended with where people are not (spiritually speaking)? Do we really think that we came to Christ as a shiny new, clean, creation? I thought we all came to Christ the same exact way, through the blood. Forgive me for coming off strongly, but it is a serious issue. 2 Peter 1 "5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins."

It's so encouraging and a great example of speaking truth in love. This interview in particular was so informative and well expressed. I agree with the prayer to ask God to protect and guide people like these 2 men who are willing to offer the hope of Jesus to others. In the part where you discussed why young people are being misled, I was convicted of how I attempted to but did not adequately teach our kids how to know the Bible. This is so important. All I did was nod and say "Yes" the entire video. Thanks Becket for such a great guest. Joe is added to my library!

Thanks for sharing this. Agree with your guest Joe suggesting that we need to start thinking about supporting like-minded believers, 'pulling ranks' as he puts it, in a non aggressive way of course. Open Doors here in the UK run a seminar for persecuted Christians to help believers biblically prepare for and work together called 'Standing Strong Through The Storms'. Unimaginable a few years ago, we may have to start running similar sessions here in the West. Blessings

Hi Becket! I am still working on "The Madness of Crowds" (audio book) and I just purchased Joe's book. I am enjoying you channel so much! Wow, I need to just sit and listen to all the books I have purchased. The list is getting longer! :)

What a powerful testimony! A lot of rebuilding is right; In ways not yet fully discerned by seekers of the Word made flesh.

Praising Jesus for His healing and restoration! Praying for continued encouragement and perseverance for all of us to close ranks, to support one another as Jesus loves on us. Thank you so much for this interview. It answered a lot of questions for me.
