Thanks for this. I'm the leader of one of the ministries at my church and have much to learn about what it means to me a good leader. I felt the Holy Spirit highlight a couple of things. 1. Be open-handed. I am more of a glass half empty kind of person, so when someone disappoints me my tendancy is to complain to God. "God, why would you put them in my life. This situation sucks." And I felt the Holy Spirit tell me 2 things. -release your expectations -your role is to empower and care for those under you. You have no control over the choices they make as a result of having you lead them. Also, that part about transparency and vulnerability as a leader gave me a lot to think on.
