Prof Steve Peters is amazing. I've seen him speak live a few times and my god ... I could listen to him all day - he is brilliant and so engaging, and of course full of wisdom.

I know that asking my question before watching the whole video is wrong but Im so excited. I realised one thing. I can do physical work without pushing my willpower too much but its not that easy to study, learn, or for other things. I wonder why?

I would love to take this opportunity to practice gratification, especially because of your comment on negative feedbacks on social media, here I am representing part of the majority that finds your content so inspiring and helpful. Thank you for being such a charming, interactive and very aesthetically pleasing (your beauty and studio aesthetics) host. Your hard work is deeply appreciated by many!

Why do patterns continue when the threat is no longer there? Is there truth to the body keeps the score?

Great question!

In psychoanalytical literature there is a concept of "repetition compulsion" which is where people are subconsciously compelled to repeat past traumas (situations, relationships etc) in order to avoid remembering the original version of the trauma. This sounds backwards but if you're focussed on what's going on now, you won't have to think about what happened then. That's only one facet of why patterns repeat themselves though. I hope that made sense!

It’s fair to say that the host found it incredibly interesting. Probably the case when someone hasn’t done their research and brought in an expert and as such, don’t know how to respond. So say that’s incredibly interesting to everything!

Or it could just be that they do in fact, find the information incredibly interesting.

@@sarahwales6276 Then say what's so interesting about it rather than say it's interesting. It makes it a richer response that promotes further depth and discussion.

All females should aspire to be like Grace. Not aspire to be like these onlyfans girls. Keep it up Grace, you're one of few.

Ok but why are we pulling down other women in order to lift Grace? Women are awesome without pulling down other women! Doing this is just another form of misogyny
