*whispers* 🤫 Sorry for suddenly losing my voice half way through this video! 💛 On the topic of my last tip about not feeling guilty creating space, I’ve been thinking about making a video about the power of being an introvert, which is something I’ve been learning about a lot recently. I’d love to know if you’d be interested in that kind of topic ☺️ Lots of love and see lots of you in LA soon! 🤗☀️

one of the best quotes I’ve ever read is “the 20 minute walk that I do is better than the 5 mile run that I don’t do” that changed my life & I appreciate you addressing the importance of little choices in this!

I have the same issue. What I've been doing is treating my time at the gym like a class where I "have" to go. Like I have it specified in my schedule that this specific time block is for the gym. That's been helping me out.

"Being healthy is the sum of all the little choices we make." Couldn't agree more. It's not how many reps you can do, how long you can run, or how many vegetables are in your fridge. It's simply making those little choices time and time again knowing that you are making yourself better. Sooner or later you'll have La Croix instead of beer, a smoothie instead of cookies, and go for a run instead of sitting in front of a screen and you'll think, "How did I even get here?" That's the goal.

i know you did a video on wether to bulk or cut first, but could you also do a video about „skinny fat“ and what to do? i feel like there are so many different opinions out there and it’s kinda confusing 😅 I love your videos ♥️ and peaky blinders is awesome!!

hey beautiful! Thank you so much for the suggestion, they help me so much. Sorry for asking a basic question and I'll look it up too, but what do you mean by skinny fat and what kind of change would you like to create? I'd love to really understand what you have in mind so I can hopefully answer as best I can 🤗

Natacha Océane as far as i understood it, skinny fat means that you are at a normal or even low weight (and bmi) and look skinny in clothing, but your tummy is like soft/ no muscle definition and your body fat percentage is in an unhealthy range. I tried to find out what the best approach is, but there are just so many different opinions 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe a video about this can help others too 😊 thank you so much and i hope your voice gets better soon 😚 (hope i explained it good enough, english isn’t my native language, so sorry for any grammar mistakes 😅)

you're my favorite youtuber. i feel like recently i've gotten into this all or nothing mindset. like if i don't have time to go to the gym, i just start getting into this negative cycle of not going to the gym or eating badly. and it takes a lot for me mentally to be like okay...lets just start over. and then i go full swing into it again. then end up burning out. but realizing, hey, i can do a little bit of something each day. it doesn't have to be a full workout. it doesn't have to be a full idea of a healthy day of eating. it can be little bits here and there that make a difference. i love that so much. thank you natacha.

I recently watched you do the US Military fitness tests and as an ex-Army man I thought those were very cool. Starting in the fiscal year 2020 (October) the Army will be changing their test to a 6 event Army Combat Fitness Test. It would be very interesting to see you attempt that then compare/contrast the differences. The new test is a MUCH more effective measure of fitness than the old push up / sit up / run test ever was. Here is a link to the events and their current order, it may change slightly before implementation - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmq1nYZugb-ajMU

The problem with busy people isn’t really that we have no time, it’s mostly that when you do find a few moments for yourself in the day you are likely too exhausted to dedicate that to even more physical activity and would rather spend it relaxing or sleeping.

Hey so I’m a dancer, and I just wanted to say that although you probably know this, there are some very dangerous mistakes a lot of people make when they’re stretching (ballistic stretching and pushing their boundaries too much) just remember that while stretching shouldn’t be comfortable, it shouldn’t be causing you pain so to speak!

Thank you so much for another video! So... I am going to add to the list of request videos. Nutrition while injured. Personally, I've been having difficulties with bicep tedonitis on an off for two years now. I've going to physical therapy and doctor two times and had a MRI done to make sure nothing else was going on. It's definitely impacted me in the gym and I've gained fat. I've been doing research about whether or not being in a deficit will impair healing and what foods that can help with recovery. SO much conflicting information out there. So yeah, just putting a bug in your ear for a potential video. As a person who has self image and self esteem issues, your videos are really helpful with my mindset. Thanks for sharing your sunshine personality!

Lately I've been doing squats while reading. One chapter on, one chapter off. I don't have to really think about it and get a few extra active minutes in. It definitely is a sacrifice with one thing versus another. Fitness/health and reading and my skincare take priority. I've been good about cutting up fruit and having it in the fridge. Currently it is kiwi, watermelon, and grapes! And I can grab that when I'm feeling munchy and I usually want that as opposed to the crisps because cool fruit feels better on these still hot days.

Hi Natacha, I mean no disrespect or hate with what I am about to say. But I just want to express something I think applies to most fitness influencers. You all either trained for a fitness competition, or a really hard and strict diet and exercise regimen once to get their bomb body, and then they eat a balanced diet to maintain that physique. I think what you preach is AMAZING and it is of course much better to eat a balanced diet rather than eat like crap (for both physical and mental health), but I just don’t think it is as easy for someone who has a regular physique. In my case I happen to make the less healthy option because I find that just eating balanced doesn’t get me results, so might as well get the chips you know? Idk Just thought I would share. I ADORE YOUR VIDEOS AND AGAIN THIS IS NOT COMIG FROM A PLACE OF HATE. You are one of my favorite KZbinrs :)
@kaytee789

I see what you say but most of the fitness influencer they started when they were thin, and mostly with years of consistency with weight training and eating clean (consuming enough micronutrients and micronutrients) in a mantaince or surplus they achieved the body they have right now, if you dont have the same body type (naturally slim with less body fat, ectomorph or what they call the ones with high metabolism) or dont workout and eat to lose weight and build muscle than you won't achieve those results. And some of the fitness influencer out there most of the times looking that way is their job because some are models for gym clothing brands others maybe to make it out in the Personal Training industry (because normally between an infit PT or extremly fit PT people will choose the PT with better or appealing shape) and lastly its their jobs to look like that, influencers are selling you a fitness lifestyle they need to look thar way to make it through on social media platforms aswell. I believe if you find what works for you and really go hard on your diet and training you can achieve that look (with lower body fat), but i think its ok if you look the way you look by eating healthy and eating some treats, fitness doesnt need to be about aesthetics 😋

3rd week of college and I'm suddenly having my lunch at the computer between my classes hoping to not have to return on my Friday of no classes to spend all daylight there for assignments without Adobe programs at home. It allows more time for my kids, still minimal time for me, but leaves me feeling less pulled in a dozen directions. It's been a panting walk up to the third floor classes are on, but with my art and photography supplies I do that a couple to 4 times a day, 4 days a week.

I’ve finally got courage to go to my uni’s (small) gym and loved it - sweat and all!😅 My goal is to be more fit (not gonna lie, I kinda want to look good too!) and build a habit of working out regularly by my Christmas visit back home in Aus. But the uni work is building up and when I sacrifice a workout for homework, I feel bad and like I’m taking a step back from reaching my goal (which is probably unrealistic in my my time frame too?) 😞.

I remember the time (about a year ago) when I matched my cobalt blue nail polish to my cobalt blue dangly earrings-I really felt like I had my ish/life together that day😂But yes perfect timing for this video-I’m a mom, wife, student and have a full time job. I’ve struggled with maintaining a healthy diet and working out, thanks for the tips!!

Thank you so very much for this video! It’s JUST what I needed as I’m going to be starting this new job soon thats going to require a lot more of time. Deff will be referencing back to it when I get to the point of “oh what’s the point of a 15 min jog” ..as a reminder that every little bit is better than nothing at all. Thanks again!!

This video came at a time when I really needed it! I'm moving across the country in 2 days and I just came down with the flu last night. I definitely overloaded myself with work, packing and getting a whole new household set up 1,700 miles away. I'm going to use your lessons from this video Natacha. Love you girly keep up the awesome content.

Hey natacha ♥️ I'm writing this comment with absolutely 0% hope I'll get a reply or anything, but something in me still wants to try it out anyhow, because I need the help. Since 2012, I've lost over 45kgs, unfortunately not in a very healthy manner. At first I was on 1200 calories, lost then plateaued and chose to bump up to 1800, lost more but then somewhere along the line started to gain weight a little, freaked out and did my biggest mistake (that I thought was the smartest thing I've ever done) and lowered my calories to 1500, for one full year. I lost almost 10kilos, was working out and eating nothing after until the next day (sometimes I would sleep because I couldn't do anything else), and also did intermittent fasting. I did not know how much I was damaging my body until I stopped getting my period and was crying because of how much I was restricting myself and how I had everyone around me worried for my health. After watching your videos on metabolism, I started increasing my calories slowly and doing more weight lifting, less cardio and 2 hiit sessions instead of 4 each week. I also started working out at noon, and eating regularly after but still while intermittent fasting. I'm now at 1800 calories, my weight hasn't changed (maybe because I used to lift before just not as much?) but it feels like my belly is just expanding and I don't get it. Am I doing something wrong? Is it just me? Im desperate because all the progress I made matters so much to me. It took so much to get here and I want to be on the right track. I really wish I could get even the smallest piece of advice from you. Love and looking up to you always. ♥️

Yoongi 1004 after starvation your body will store any fuel it gets in order for your body to function it needs more fuel ( food ) and the more it stores , the more weight you put on but don’t think of it as unhealthy weight you’re body is just storing fuel to repair its self a little exercise should get you back in shape ;)
