Hi Jasmin, I found you a few days ago on How to get over your fear of being seen. Everything about you resonated with me. Your voice is almost hypnotizing, your tone, what you are articulating. You spoke to me so I’m here…💖

I felt as if because I went through mental, sexual, and mental abuse that people owed me empathy and or some sort of understanding of why I am how I am. When I saw that people didn't gaf, the angrier I got. I remember failing classes in high school , I was depressed and I was afraid to go home. All people outside of my situation could see that I was failing. When I was eventually taking out of the home and then sent to my grandparents...still all people would see is the failing. I've been so bitter about that shit for so long. Now I'm like the crazy family member...still no acknowledgement of my abuse. I felt that people owed me some sort of validation or acknowledgement of my pain. I didn't realize how much and how long I've cheated myself waiting for someone to say , "I see you." I'm ready to forgive them and myself and close that story of my life. It's gotten me nowhere. I want to live.

I struggle a lot with my reactions to people who did wrong to me, especially when it's something I would never do to them. It led me to having extreme meltdowns over every thing that hurt my feelings. This video really helped a lot, and changed my mindset on a couple of things so thank you for making this video!

This video came at a time when I needed it most! Some of the things you mentioned is what I’m currently struggling with, and I recently also had the thought about much energy I’m wasting being reactive for those who barely even notice - how I’m destroying myself for others to see how much I’m suffering, yet they aren’t even noticing. It’s just crazy how much I want to be where you are, all the things you said encapsulates me right now. Every pitfall, is my current reality. Thank you for giving me even more clarity. I’m going to have to rewatch a couple of times because of how dense of a deep dive this video really is!

I came here from the discipline video. I don’t have Spotify but I did like comment and subscribe after the first two videos. Thank you. I’m in a place of inconsistency and I just need to hear what you have to m say. Most importantly I am worthy of my own 100 percent. I give work parenting chores and marriage a hundred percent but not myself. I’m drained after all tasks. But I desire more and I’m worthy of more. Thank you for operating in your gift and calling.

I found you due to one of my friends sending me one of your videos titled “how to enter your DISCIPLINED GIRL ERA & be consistent.” & that resonated with me so well! I have a hard time in remaining consistent due to so many distractions that the world brings but I know it’s my responsibility to starve my distractions & feed my focus. Your voice, your emotional intelligence & your wisdom is what got me to subscribe to your channel. I definitely wanted to hear & learn more. God is using you for a purpose greater than your own & I truly admire how you’re boldly walking in it. I too am a very bold, expressive person who had to learn when & when not to express my emotions for the greater good of my self & let me tell you, it’s not an easy task! So thank you for being so relatable & allowing me to know that I’m not alone. I pray I find the boldness & courage to walk out in faith & start sharing my testimony by having talks like this to help others out from my experiences too.

I found you a few months back when you made a video about decentering men from your life and I was like DAAAAYM! This is my green light.. yaknow? And even though I was afraid that - letting go was going to isolate me from the rest of “the world “(aka of Men) it actually made my relationship to “the world “ more intimate . Less guarded, less hiding, less hungry, less tactics, less trying. Anyways I was also, always, a very emotionally explosive person, kind of like fireworks, quick to burst. But having gone through my own training, the same fire that was fueling my boundless emotionality, became a slow and constant flame of perseverance. Like you said, able to endure. Quietly. Taking it all in and letting it shape me into a warrior. How can women remain soft and sensual while not letting the volatile nature of their emotions sweep them away? It takes so much refinement, so much elegance and grace to be able to see and deal with all the heaviness men have to deal with and STILL remain feminine. To be able to gaze into someone’s soul and see their judgement and jealousy and projections and still, remain anchored. Clear-headed. taking all those emotional reactions inside, to the deepest dungeons of our psyche and there let them churning until they alchemize into the rebirth of a mighty presence. 🫡 True, elegant and powerful 🫀

I'm now no contact with my mother, After years of abuse. My mother have all ways treated me differently from my siblings, yet there was this unconditional love in my heart for my mom. However my psychologist told me I never had a mother, she ask why was I holding to someone who wasn't motherly. My reply was because she my mom. So I came to terms with the fact my mother will never change. So going no contact is more beneficial for my life. I'll always love her. This distance between us is needed.shes no good for my lymphatic system. My body freeze up and I'm no longer able to be myself when I'm around her. I've forgiving her countless times. For now there's no contact and I'm alright with that.

In my "family", titles and labels trump everything. So "mama" can be an unhealed manipulative narcissist who's content with passing down generational trauma, and the "child" is expected to accept it all with gratitude? NO! "Do as I say, not as I do." "Respect your elders." "Don't care how old you get, you'll always be MY child, so stay in a child's place!" "What are you gonna do, stop talking to your mama? You only get one mother. Better appreciate her while she's still here." NO! All the painstaking work we've had to do to grow and expand, and others get to hide behind titles? NO! Giving grace, making excuses, being the "bigger person", and "turning the other cheek".... that time has passed. Some things are unforgivable, and some folks refuse to accept that certain individuals are doing more harm than good, serve no purpose, and need to go. ANOTHER PURGE IS UNDERWAY
