Great question! Names are so important to remember so here are some tips on that! 1. try to say their name was much as possible in the conversation when you learn it to help you remember (obv don't be a weirdo) 2. Make a mental note to something about them. i.e. Ruby as Red hair. 3. write their name down as soon as they leave so you can always have a way to check back if you need. Because you. are right, it can look funny to write it down when they are talking to you.

i have so much to say about this. Hi Everyone, Most of the kids in my year at school and nearly every single of my friends has social media. They are all preteens and shouldn’t be on it at all. I’m not allowed it though and I know why. But it’s like the only thing they talk about, constantly discussing the latest trends and memes. I understand that I shouldn’t have it and it’s very dangerous, but it’s hard not to feel left out! I have no idea what they are talking about half the time and it really annoys me. I often have to google it because I’m so confused. Back in year 6 (5th grade) I was known as smart and popular because I was very nice and friends with lots of people. That started to change when I noticed people talking about social media and I didn’t understand it. I didn’t want to look like a complete nerd so I decided to stop focusing on studying. In secondary school, my new class was full of tiktokers and I was excluded because I didn’t have social media or follow the latest trends. I was picked on and my best friend left me for her new friend. I also ended up with bad grades and couldn’t think why I thought I would look good if I stopped bothering to study! That was such a bad mistake! School was closed again because of the virus so I had time to relax without having to worry about school. My parents understood that I had been having a hard time and I got moved to a different class. I haven’t met my new class in person yet only on online class where you can’t show your face so I’m really excited but also very nervous. I’m not sure how I should tell them I don’t have social media and what they would think. I’m also trying to be more popular among them. What’s your advice?
