"because instead of being afraid of being alone, you`re gonna be embracing being alone." I want to get to that state. Thank you for creating this video.

Sure, yeah it's NOT easy, in fact it was very painful but as I did that, I finally felt free - like I didn't have to chase anyone anymore. Developing self-trust is a huge part of that too

Love sometimes comes through sometimes saying “no” to others and saying “yes” to myself and Jesus.❤

Thank you! Sometimes I think the more important topics get overlooked but eventually the deeper issue becomes clear.

I was codependent married to a substance abuser for a very long time. I’ve been divorced 10 years now and I endeavor to catch myself when trying to manage other peoples feelings. Your third recommendation about not seeking support from others, in fact I rarely if ever do that. It always comes down to me managing my own emotions and situations. Is that an argument for my healing from codependence 🤞🏻 or losing trust in relationships altogether?

I think it’s healthy and a great goal to strive for a balance between outside support and relying on ourselves. Especially when recovering from codependency - both are key. Isolation isn’t good but neither is depending too much on others. Thanks so much for watching!
