The key was inserted into Michael's face without damaging his actual eye so I don't get why everyone misses this fact when discussing his options. I can't remember which youtuber made this theory on the first Saw movie, but the theory was that Amanda had been secretly rigging the traps even as early as the first one. Since the key to Adam's chain was "in the bathtub" and clues were so far out of reach but the exit locked, it was a hypothesis that Adam was supposed to be allowed to roam freely since his main objective was to survive and not watch himself die. It's likely that Amanda was supposed to tie the key to him in some way and just didn't, or she wasn't supposed to fill the tub with water. This makes a lot of sense because no other times do the victims have to perform some out of the box thinking to reach their tape players to learn the rules and gives Adam more of a chance to live instead of being a sitting duck for Gordon to kill.
@lajourdanne2 ай бұрын
This makes a lot of sense. When they show Amanda throwing the key on Adam it does look like she didn't do it with the care the Jigsaw usually does. Also, it would explain why all the prequel traps seemed easy in comparison to everything after Amanda had to simply murder someone to get the key (which is a super easy feat when it’s life or death and Adrenaline kicks in).

No, Amanda mercy killed Adam whilst crying because she messed up her test with carelessness of not carefully placing the key on him. She only made irreversible/rigged traps after she survived the Gas House in her second game and lost faith in people's chances of being rehabilitated. She became vengeful after her experiences in there including being thrown into the needle pitt. She was distraught whilst strangling Adam to put him out of his misery. She didn't want him to suffer. Was a mistake.

I like how the first movie could have gone wrong in so many ways for Jigsaw. Imagine Lawrence deciding to be more suspicious of the body because of Amanda's story. Or if Adam drowned in the bathtub, what was the contingency for that? Also imagine if the police were competent and tackled Jigsaw before he left the elevator. The plot armour on Crammer is nuts.

@Benjamin19869804 күн бұрын
That's the thing. It did go wrong. They were supposed to find the keys in the bathtub and be unshackled the whole time. The problem with all of your scenarios is that they go wrong but are still wins for Jigsaw. He doesn't get his fun trap, but he does kill the victim. The only real fail state was if his escape hadn't gone to plan, or if he forgot where the tripwire for the shotguns was on his way to the bathroom one night.
@generalpacman64144 ай бұрын
20:28 I would have just stood there and keep shooting if he gets back up. I’m not chasing a dude that is notorious for setting traps. Also this is a irl shotgun not a videogame one, so shooting at a good 20-30 yards in a narrow hallway isn’t a problem.

That's the point. Kramer is a psychopath and a hypocrite; you're not supposed to be agreeing with his claim that he never killed even if it's true on a technicality. And his apprentices have even less ground to stand on since they either make unwinnable traps or just kill directly.

The Needle Pit is not technically "unwinnable" but the sheer ODDS of "winning" it is not even worth throwing someone in there.... in the same vein of the 'horror / psn house' in SAW 2 - the box trap hanging from above with the needle, but idk what to call the metal blades, origami-like traps? since you can push your hands/wrists THROUGH but pulling them OUT = slice n dice = death. you could EITHER only pushing one hand up in order to keep a free hand to push the origami-like blades of "enter only, never exit" you could use free hand to keep those blades pushed UP. not only that you could go deeper IF you had idk, saw a MUSCLE BOUND drug dealer to BOOST YOU UP so that you could easily get the syringe that has ONE antidote. so them drifting apart into mainly solo adventures or in a couple cases a pair (where you see Amanda, if you take note, she is CONSTANTLY watching over the KID) because she's just playing the game for fun, TECHNICALLY. I think its by SAW3 and onwards that we see Agent Hoffman or just Detective Hoffman using Jigsaw to KILL his dead sister's boyfriend. Oh, might as well tackle SAW1, the beginning of the two trapped in a room, if the young private eye wannabe who takes pics for $ aka what a P.I. technically does but they also get proof of what's going on instead of just pictures for blackmail or w/e. Adam was dumb as hell for the fact he's FREAKING OUT , JERKIN AROUND, instead of preventing the KEY that's set neatly on his CHEST and even has a BLINKING LIGHT ON IT from what i recall, i could rewind video but i'm sure you'll go back to it. then, if the cheating Doc was ultimately going to cut off his foot, he should have IMMEDIATELY done it at the very moment he realized he was gonna have to do it. he had more than enough time (you said EIGHT HOURS to either kill adam or FREE themselves) - he could have used his belt as a tourniquet and wrap it around his lower limb SO TIGHT that it could have numb his foot / ankle as much as possible. i've fallen asleep (on accident) to my left side to the point where my left arm was NUMB from just below the elbow to the fingertips. this went on for MONTHS and I FREAKED OUT - i had to text my head doctor explaining to him that my left arm is still numb after waking up and it being numb STILL after 2 hours after waking up from a nap. typically when i fall asleep at my desk, its either heads down on my arms crossed or leaning backwards or to the RIGHT. but his response was JUST enough to calm me down because i was terrified that i had permanently killed the nerves in my arm. since... when i was in private college prep school (Pre-k to 12th) , by the time we got to Anatomy and then AP biology, we were taught back then, that once a NERVE cell dies, it is FOREVER DEAD. so yeah i was having a FULL BLOWN panic attack... however, at some point in the reality shift post 2012/CERN experiments and the beginning of the Mandella Effect, something had changed. He told me that nerves CAN REGROW but at a rate of 0.1mm per 24hours.... hence why it took 6-8 months for my to finally move my pinky and ring finger again and eventually the rest of my fingers/hands by the middle of the 7th month and eventually by the 8th month, i was able to have control of my hand/wrist motion and the tingling of my forearm came back. prior to that, when it was ALL numb from elbow-down.. it was SO NUMB that my hand would flop back n forth unless i was moving CAREFULLY on top of using an ACE bandage but i had to be SUPER CARFUL to not wrap it too tightly... i focused most of the bandage on the wrist area to keep it from flopped it back'n'forth. since when the hand flopped "forward" aka palm down, it would be SO FLAT. same with the palm up orientation which i tried doing with my right arm and the wrist would not get as flat as the left due to PAIN. so ... ever since, there's some kind of nerve damage in my left wrist/hand that never goes away. my POINT being, he could have cut off circulation on his shackled foot if he was going to CUT it off. vs what we later see MARKY MARK's ugly brother (Det. Matthews) do in another movie and he uses the top of a toilet to completely DECIMATE his food + twist it and squish it out of the shackle. i have to say THAT scene is literally top 3 worse scenes in ALL of the films combined. if not the #1. the sound FX they pulled off plus the realistic looking graphics..... my lawd. it was horrible. and i do not get queasy, easy, baby; ya dig? so, if i could fall asleep at my desk and lean left and pinch my upper arm in such a way to it causes an 8 month numbing period from my ELBOW down to my FINGER Tips - and this short NAP was less than 5hours, give or take 30-45min... he had time to completely numb his foot... not only that, i'm sure one he got through the exterior, of course it would be likely to be agonizing but as a doctor, he would KNOW wtf to do in order to prevent bleeding out, afterall, we've assumed he's created a TIGHT enough tourniquet to make it numb, thus LESS blood loss. and once the foot has been sawed off, he could have wrapped it with both his button up and shirt/shirts underneath the button up and even using the button up's sleeves to create a secondary tourniquet. he was fortunate to get to exterior piping that was putting off ENOUGH heat in order for him stem the bleeding even more via cauterization. also, by the time we see Det. Matthews again in the FALSE trap with Det Hoffman when we see him in a full-blown cast + surgical rods and screws; this was my first tip off that Doc. Lawrence or w/e his last name is/was, is 100% Team Jigsaw now. Just like Amanda became. Just like in "Jigsaw" movie we see an ex Marine who became an intern who we later see make a GENUINE mistake not on purpose or due to indifference, Kramer SAVES HIM from his first trap of Bucketheads + pulled by chains into a wall of circular saws. love the fact Kramer saved him and patched him up and his future cover stories about being a PoW in Fallujah (which is STILL POSSIBLE) it explains SOME scars but NOT ALL his scars since the wall of circular saws are ALL horizontal.

Saw 1: Cast iron pipes can be brittle. They should have tried to hit one of the pipes with something around them. Make calculated hits. Don't just beat things randomly off of the pipes. Lol

Yup just as i said before it was the people themselves who did that to them selves John just merely gave them a choice. As he said too he said make your choice. So john never by his hand killed anyone. I felt for John and his wife . They were looking forward to their precious child😢😢😢

After watching the Saw II part knowing that knowledge about the officer I honestly wish he had survived and yk they just send discharge him and find a new job but no hot headed fucked it all up and died because of it because he pissed off Amanda. Also I feel so damn bad for Jeff and his entire family. If Jeff just had let Jon live his wife wouldn’t have died

57:36 I think they should've held the door open while he was inside there. And if he turned on the gas, the door would be open and it wouldn't have gotten as hot and he would've been able to reach the switch
