The ending just really messes up the whole great anime. He kills himself, and humanity, on the basis that the pervious god did nothing to help humanity from suffering, yet his option was to just remove all suffering by there not being anyone to suffer. to echo everyone, who let the suicidal guy become god! He did the same thing the previous god did, nothing to help.

If I were God, I would not give everyone true freedom. It would lead to chaos on Earth. But, if you are super controlling, it would lead to chaos. I would get rid of victim mindset and make all mental/ emotional problems disappear. You would still experience all emotions; but would not lead to depression. Plus, no more mentally ill people in the world. This would make the world safer.

This was interesting up until the end. Honestly what I think would have made a better ending was if upon god's death, the other candidates were forced to ascend and become a pantheon who recreate the earth. But as it stands this ending makes the entire anime pointless
