I like that you've put back the entire list of (potential) victims - I've always enjoyed seeing who the major players are. Plus, being able to keep an eye on where their deaths land in the story beats, and (if I haven't seen the movie yet) guess if any of them might manage to make it out alive as the story goes on, is fun!

It's true that faith is good, but whats most important in a demonic scenario is a correct understanding of authority. I'm had my run ins with the supernatural. Demons cannot hurt you unless you let them. Authority over self trumps demonic power which is why saying "take me instead" is the worst possible thing you can do. Don't consent, don't surrender. We have the tools to win.

This video is pretty cool, but i think I've got something cooler... Pot Roast over Mashed Potatoes Ingredients: - 2 lbs chuck roast - 1 tablespoon olive oil - 1 onion, chopped - 2 carrots, peeled and chopped - 2 stalks celery, chopped - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 cup beef broth - 1 tablespoon tomato paste - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme - 2 bay leaves - Salt and pepper to taste - For the mashed potatoes: - 4 large potatoes, peeled and quartered - 1/4 cup milk - 2 tablespoons butter - Salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the chuck roast and sear on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside. 2. In the same pot, add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until softened. 3. Add beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, bay leaves, and the browned chuck roast back to the pot. Bring to a simmer, then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender and falls apart easily. 4. For the mashed potatoes: Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper, and mash until smooth and creamy. 5. Serve the pot roast over a bed of mashed potatoes, spooning some of the cooking juices over the top. Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cooking Time: 4 hours | Total Time: 4 hours and 20 minutes Kcal: 650 kcal | Servings: 6 servings

The language thing doesn't NECESSARILY mean possession TBF. I once woke from a coma (not a long one, just 4 days) after a head injury speaking fluent French. I did study French in high school, but not to any great degree, just very basic conversational stuff, mais oui, je parle un *PEU* de Francais but I only actually speak English and Spanish. I actually was UNABLE to speak ANY English or Spanish and the hospital literally had to have a French translator present for me to be able to speak to the doctors and nurses or my family. It lasted several days and then I awoke one morning back to normal/

Once again not a fan of your "You f***ed up, because at the very first sign of anything strange you didn't just ignore the entirety of science and assume that demons were not just a thing, but actively at work here" angle. That said it seems the (real) priest was the one to f*** up for me, as his possession strengthened the demon (although that remained without consequence in the end) and he'd have been able to do a lot more good with the remainder of his life than a washed-up alcoholic actor, who should have been with one foot in jail already, as you pointed out.
