Hi, I'm 17 and I from Mexico, from a small city-and I don't know so much English-. I feel the same as you. But, I promise you, if we have that goal-being actors-and we keep that goal, and we take action… we gonna be one of the best actors. Just we have to take action, and we'll get it, ok? That I know. I have to wait 3 years more, for some reasons, to take action. Then, go to the big city, here in Mexico, and after that, go to U. S. But, if you have the opportunity to do it, right now! Go for it! Do it! I don't know you, but… I believe in you. Just do it!

Not trying to say people can’t be what they want but becoming a actor isn’t to hard the hard part is being a successful and known actor, some people don’t live close and don’t have the money to move, pretty sure statistics show 90% of people who Pursue acting fail unless of course u have connections or u are rich, and if u ever did get a agent and moved then u would need to worry about getting a role statistics also show that actors typically get 1 roll for every 100 auditions, not saying u can’t do it or shouldn’t hell even I want to be one, but it is a really hard job to get into and make a living off of

I want to become an an actor because I want to be somebody. I want to make my mark on the world in the deepest way possible. I want to be someone people look up to and are inspired by. I want to be able to portray characters and ideas through acting that need to be recognized or can be looked up to and related to. I want to speak for the people who can't speak for themselves. I want to create a character or environment that conveys message others might not be able to send by themselves. I want to escape my own mind and be able to explore many different characters and environments. I'm an imaginative person and I want to fulfill the scenarios I act out in my head. I've never really expressed my passion for acting at all and so I'm terrified that my parents will judge me and my friends will judge me. Plus I'm fourteen so there's not much I can do independently to launch my acting career. I want to do something and get out of my small bubble. I want to portray real life issues and ideas that need to be acknowledged or recognized through acting and characters. I want to be a actor because I've always wanted to be an actor. Ever since I was little, ever since I watched Harry Potter really, I always wanted to be an actor. I would act out little scenes in my head and stand in my driveway and act them out. I would write my own little scenes, I also love writing so that contributed a lot to my love of acting. I want to be an actor because I don't want to go through my life wishing I had become and actor. I don't want to regret not doing it because I was scared of being judged or ridiculed. I want to do it now and let my heart take the wheel rather than my fear. I don't want to be held back by fear of being tormented and judged. I do t want it to be too late when I decide I'm brave enough. I want to grow from the ground up without nepotism, all on my own. I want to be proud of myself. I want to make an impact. My goals are: -to grow and evolve as much as I can -to win awards -to gain confidence and show others how to gain confidence -bring life to a character -speqk for people through a character -to make meaningful relationships -play major or leading roles -to save people and inspire -to convey and translate emotion through acting and facial expressions and body language -i want it to be my career Sorry, I know this was a lot. I was just wondering if you had any advice for me seeing as I'm extremely indecisive and insecure about this. Also I love your videos and your whole vibe, you make me smile!

I’m 14 as well and it’s as if you and I are the same person. You literally said exactly what I was gonna comment on this video. I wanna make my mark on the world and be someone that will be remembered. So as Ella said, please, if anyone has some advice, share it. It’d mean so much. Cheers.

@@isaacphillips8263 ☺️ i told my mom a while ago and she was completely supportive and is constantly reminding me that she will love and support me no matter what. We don't really talk about it too much, but she mentions it ever now and then and i shy away a bit. She also has a few friends who have connections and stuff who can give me really helpful advice on where to begin or just on building my own confidence. My mom is the only person who knows how i feel, but i will eventually tell my friends and my family, when i'm fully confident. One of my biggest fears is not being who i want to be or regretting not doing something when i had the chance, so that was really my biggest motivation in telling my mom. I know it sounds cheesy, but life is short and if this is who i am then I want to be me while I have he chance. I don't want to grow old and regret not taking the opportunity. So my advice to you, Isaac ☺️, is to just go for it. Maybe be cautious because is can be scary, but honestly, of it makes you happy then why should you give a shit what anyone else thinks. I would rather be myself and do what I love then not be myself and be stuck always wishing I was doing what I love. I'm proud of you for saying that and I really hope you get everything you need and want because you deserve it, all the love, Ella 💓💓💓

@@ellamcgurgan Thank you so much and I mean that. I really needed to hear that and receiving support from you means so much. And I 100% agree that I should just go for it. I don’t wanna be sitting in my house at 90 years old wishing I had just gone for it but threw the opportunity away because I was scared. I’m just gonna tell my parents that I’m interested in the topic of acting. It won’t be too much of a surprise to them since when I was younger I used to write, act in and then edit my own short films all the time, so they’ll understand where the interest came from. Thanks so much again for the support, and I wish you all the best in the acting industry! Perhaps we’ll remember each other when we become famous actors lmao. Anyway, take care Ella!

This is something I just advised my own subscribers as I have dealt with LA in a similar endeavor. Some of you out there (including this writer and vlogger) have the artist aspiration. You have been told by the very few who made it to believe in yourself and never give up. Well the simply fact is the arts are very different than any other profession. Because usually--someone else has to let you in. Now what I would tell you if you are 18 or 40 and feel that your destiny is in the arts? I would not tell you to just stay the "safe route" and give up on your dreams. I would tell you to pursue the artist aspiration smartly. Get another trade that you at least like. So the agents of industry never have you by the throat. You have to go to work anyway so you might as well have the job that pays well. I never went through the starving artist phase. I went through a starving student phase. So when I finally did pursue the artist endeavor I did it with a job I also like that contracts for 100K a year and four month vacations in Europe. That's how you go through being a starving artist. You don't starve at all. Hope this helps someone---Charles

@kingzgaming34673 жыл бұрын
it would be a good idea to have a backup plan tho honestly, acting is not hard and its fun but the hard part is becoming a famous actor its usually only around 2 percent of actors make it big may not sound like alot but alot of people act and audition so its really hard to become famous and majority of people who go for acting fail or can barely make a living off it, but u never know u could get famous if its what u want to do nothing can stop you, look at millie bobby brown her family almost went bankrupt trying to help her with acting and she was going to quit acting before she got the to play 11 from stranger things because she was not getting any roles now shes got a 10 million networth at 17 and will never need to worry about anything to do with money

Millie Bobby brown is the only reason I wanted to become an successful actress, she makes people happy, and I always act, so that made me think.. “ Why become a doctor and having no one to see you when I can become and successful actress like Millie Bobby brown” she inspired me a lot. And at the age of 15, there is a chance for me to go to America with my aunt to audition there everyone please wish me luck at the age of 15! ( which is 2025! )

I've always wondered this but never knew, when an actor becomes famous and known do they still audition like other actors or is it different?
@TheActorsAcademy4 жыл бұрын
The bigger an actor is, typically means the less they will have to audition. Doesn’t mean there won’t come a time where they may audition to fight for a part, but generally no. If you are a big time actor, you don’t really have to worry about the auditioning side of it very much

I want to be an actress so bad, however mum and dad don’t exactly want me to start auditioning until a few years. I’ve begged them sooooo much to start now, but they always say no. I know I’m only 12, and from Australia, and that makes it a little more difficult, but its to hard to convince my parents. What do I do?

how do you know if you are in the right acting class?
@TheActorsAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Part of it is deciding whether or not you want to be a theater or camera actor and whether you find a particular class/instructor helpful. Not every instructor or class is the same and typically you can gather relatively quickly whether you like someone’s training style or not

Would taking theater class be a good start to being a actress/actor
@TheActorsAcademy4 жыл бұрын
It all depends on what you want to do/the instruction of the class. If you want to be a theater actor it’s perfect, if you want to do tv/film than it can really depend on the classes. With that being said, taking a theater class will get you used to practicing and working with others/hopefully understanding the business a little bit better and that in itself can be a great stepping stone to help solidify whether or not acting is something you want to pursue. Hope this helps 👍🏼
