Can another reason to replace is that there is some debris clogging the internal chamber? I see what look like food debris build up in the upper left chamber area.

You ever figure this out? I'm getting an E24 on mine and don't see any other clogs/blockages. Checked the trap under the sink, checked the drain line for kinks, cleared out the filter/impeller area, and I'm getting nowhere.

Yes. I had this happen to me. I removed the part per their instructions and carefully added a little but of draino to the chamber (over a sink), sloshed it around, then rinsed it very well and reinstalled it. Fixed the problem!

Awesome video! I am getting an E24 error message on my unit. Replaced the pump cover but that didn't help. Could a blocked inlet housing give that error?

You will need to check the drain hose, pump, and housing for any blockages.

I know I'm a bit late to the game, but a blockage in this part was my E24 issue. It was a small bit of bone that found it's way in to the discharge section of this part and blocked the line leading to the plumbing connection. It was a simple fix, but the housing was quite greasy and gunked up inside as well. I poured some dish detergent into the discharge connections while holding it upside down. It's a bit of a snake, but will eventually find it's way down to the float. I then added some water and shook it victoriously to mix it up and let it sit. It took a couple rounds, but it cleaned right up.

The guide is very nice,but you missed one detail,always need to run a appliance,to check out that there is no leaks and no installation mistakes,even if you are a great master you must always doublecheck youself. But the video is very informative for the starting technicians,nice
