Something I read that really helps is instead of saying "Oh, sorry, I can't eat junk food" say "Oh, sorry, I don't eat junk food". By using don't, you put it in your own hands as opposed to the mindset that it's outward, as well as telling yourself "No, this is how it's always been" instead of "This is so hard! I'm not able to!". The idea is that when you actually don't do something (For example, I don't smoke), you're never really inclined to do it. It's not "I can't smoke" as if someone else is telling me I can't, I don't smoke because I personally don't do it. Just the mindset change can really help.

My main bad habit is procrastination, which leads me to stay up late all the time in order to finish my work. Recently I got really sick, which is a huge wake up call for me, and forced me to look at my whole lifestyle in a different way. This video is helpful to help me achieve my goals to finish my work, spend my time wisely, sleep earlier and start exercising instead of watching useless things online.

Tonya Sanders jesus christ. I will die if i say it once again . Sugaaaar is not the problem for weight gain or health. Your brain works on glucose. Only fat makes you fat. If your goal is weight loss, try rt4. A high carb vegan lifestyle is for us . You are craving sugar because your brain wants it. And if you won't give it to it you will fucking binge.

Overeating is my bad habit. Just like you mentioned, i told myself not to eat something, but once I got a piece, I cannot stop. For example, if I am eating a bag of chips, I cannot stop until I finish the whole bag. On the other hand, after I watch your videos, i feel like I am not a lone. All I have to do is understand my habit and choose something healthy for snack. Thank you for your encouraging videos. I love watch all of them❤

A bad habit of mine is not getting enough sleep(probably that's why I am posting this at 2 a.m.). For example, I do not fall asleep because I feel stressed about so many things that I have to do and yet I still don't do them. Than, of course, I have to wake up earlier in the morning to finish what I had started. That is why I am ALWAYS tired and I keep repeating the cycle endlessly.

This is just what I need rn! I already do eat healthy, but when I'm bored I tend to eat without thinking, and afterall day after day this means thousands of calories in excess in a month. So now I'm gonna focus on positive habits instead, thank you!

Hi... ever since I stopped drinking coffee (and taking caffeine in general) after 15:00 I have a much better sleep.... Having coffee during the day just to help you till the end of the day, DOES NOT REALLY HELP.... Coffee is a big thing in my country especially in the afternoon and the reasons are just for socialising not because you really need it (remember Friends in the 90s at the Central Perk). Then it becomes an addiction... It's been 10 years now and I opt for herbal tea (like anise and chamomile, or mint) instead of coffee.... It has helped me a lot... Of course I need coffee... I am addicted to caffeine but I only need it at the morning. A helpful tip.... Try lavender tea right before bed or (If you avoid drinking liquids late at night like me) pour some drops (1-2) of lavender essential oil at the back of your pillow... it will make you sleep like a baby resulting to wake up feeling really energised..

My goal is to only eat sweets and processed sugar on the weekend, hoping to cut it down to maybe even just one or two cheat meals eventually :) I love your videos

I actually started to make some changes a few months ago, focusing on physical and mental health, because I felt so tired of being tired all the time. I'm currently visiting a nutritionist and watching less T.V. and spending less hours online and pending of my phone. I replace those habits spending my time doing home chores, which I find very relaxing. Going to bed and waking up early also helps me a lot to feel better. Also if you feel stressed and tired maybe you have many stuff surrounding you, KonMari method might help to get rid off things you don't need which are stealing your time and your energy.

First of all... You are so encouraging and amazing. One bad habit of mine is putting what I know to practice or to do what I have learned. I watch your videos all the time and I say, "I'm going to try her exercises." But I never do. But I will rewatch a workout video of yours again and again. I do think negative, I start thinking that I am too heavy to do your workouts. And I eat all day, I have to constantly put something in my mouth. Sometimes I eat, when I'm not even hungry, I just eat to eat or because it's good. So I guess I have too challenges..... TO DO YOUR WORKOUT AND STOP LETTING FOOD RUN MY LIFE. I do hate myself at the end of the day when I'm so full I cannot even move. I know I am slowly killing myself but I feel like I cannot stop. I'm going to try this challenge ....

“What the hell” syndrome is so real!!! I swear! I have learned that it’s a must to find substitutes. Like, I love taffy apples so I’ll have an apple with crunchy peanut butter. Or I love creamy vanilla butter pecan ice cream so I’ll have plain Greek yogurt with a little honey and walnuts or pecans. It totally helps. Thanks for the video!!! 😊

Thank you for these tips :) I just disagree on the "sharing" part. Yes, it might work for some (or most) people, I don't know, I haven't looked into it. However, I think it would be so much better to change a bad habit without telling anyone. Like if you want to stop smoking, you slow down, one smoke at a time, and after a while someone might notice that "Hey, you haven't smoked in a while?" or "Have you lost weight?" To have others notice results without you telling them feels so much more rewarding in my opinion, as you can be pretty sure that they're not just saying it to be nice or to avoid hurting you, but they realized themselves that you've changed that certain habit. + you don't have a stressful pressure on your sholders to "show results or disappoint everyone" (as it felt in my case) A friend of mine is trying to lose weight. He has been for years, without any luck. Last time I saw him I thought he looked a bit skinnier, but I was afraid to mention it in case he wasn't trying to lose weight, and I'd just make him more self-concious. Now I haven't seen him in a few weeks, and when we talked a few days ago (texted, I still haven't seen him) he told me that he'd lost 18kg (39.6 pounds) and I was thrilled, he had actually committed to it without telling me, and he'd lost that much, and when he showed me before and after pictures the difference was obvious. EDIT: Provided that it is something you can change without telling anyone, that is. Changing you food habits while your parents buy all the food for instance, and not tell them, is maybe not that successful ^^'' (This is my little problem btw, but I'm just not trying to eat all the candy and stuff my mom buys)
