I didn't even bother about breathing through mouth or nose when I started running. I always felt you don't need much training about the movements that come naturally to humans. It has to be as per our own comfort.

Yeah these things matter when you are competing. Because if you don't run with the proper breathing technique required for the distance, you will loose your rhythm. Even milliseconds matter in competitions.

Yes for an amateur who runs occasionally it will work, but if you want to take to to the next level it's better to have a specifc pattern which can be slightly different for everyone

mouth breathing is inefficient most of the time. taking in more air doesn't necessarily mean more oxygen intake. Breath: the new science of lost art by James Nestor and Oxgen Advantage by Patrick McKeown is a must read book in this topic.

Nose breathing works more till 9km/hr because if we take breath from mouth then we get tired easily as I observed in my case.So, mostly I breath from nose while running.

Breath from nose, to minimise the fatigue to ur body, better to use it in the initial part of the run...... once u start breathing from ur mouth, ur lungs will start filling up (as outake of CO2 reduces, making ur lungs feel filled up and gradually intake of O2 decreases). So better to breath in the last phase of ur run

Yeah Elite runners use mouth during run. But they use for exhale the air and not Inhale like most runners - that’s the difference ❤

If running for good health. Run using nose. Because nose is meant to breathe and not the mouth. Practice speed up in runs but use only nose..

Bro kya mai 3 weeks k andar 5km la paunga Mera 3km aa raha hai 27 min mein Uske bad nhi ho pa raha hai , sans ful raha hai or pairomey dard ho raha hai !!!!!!! i also used to run 20 minutes (low intensity) and i never once used mouth for breathing because it made my mouth dry and i also because of fear or getting harmful microbes and insects into mouth 😅

Mouth breathing is the best technique. Even for normal breathing try to mouth breathe during the day and most importanttly while sleeping too
