wow great idea! i had one too: you can build a custom stair out of the pond, (next to the yacht and the little enemy camp with the pot on the firepit) on top of the first cannibal house. from there you can reach the next house with another custom stair and so on. Enemys cant destroy the "foundation"(their own camp) and if they try to get to the half underwater bridge they ALL will drown even the virginia and armsy. Hell of fun. from there you can connect to the yacht with a sipline. Love your Content Farket

Me and my friends were trying to find and build a base that we are 100% save at, we didn’t think about a sky base but we did end up finding an island that is big enough and not too far away but far enough away to where nothing can get over to us, there is plenty of food around too, we use it any time that we are playing normal. It is next to the main cannibal village so we do end up getting quite a few attacks but if we want to avoid the attacks we just swim over to the island, we also use rafts with storages on it to transport logs over to build some things. We originally found this out while trying to survive 100 days. :)

I tried this game a month ago with my friends, we had a blast but after we finished the story: they all left and tried other games... but I stayed, wanted to try the game on single player Hardsurvival difficulty= OH BOY IT'S SO DIFFERENT, having so much fun! Your videos has made me 200% appreciate this game even more. Thanks for being active and I can't wait for Sons of the forest. I really hope they add more constructions types, furniture, chests to stash things. more crafting, more cannibals, more animals, etc.

I've done this with my friends, well... with commands. We whould teleport high enough, place a platform and then work from there. By "work from there" I mean we whould throw bombs at eachother while some of us whould try to build a house. Fun times, 10/10, whould recomend. Lmao

My friends and I were actually able to get the basic wall to go perpendicular off of the simple stairs in a ps4 multiplayer lobby but the trail and error in order to do so took HOURS.... like you mentioned in previous videos, location of the simple stairs is key in actually getting the first perpendicular basic wall to stick. If it wouldn’t work after 10-15 minutes, we would just destroy the simple stairs and try them in a different location until it would finally work. So far we have accomplished the basic wall bridge out over the sinkhole with a tree bridge on top of it so we can have a drying rack with food etc. out there while we work. This took probably over 10 hours and we are still trying everything we can to get the basic walls to go out perpendicular in the capital “I” shape (the one he uses before you can place the other tree bridges that add width to the floor) 🤪. There is no way we would have even made it this far without abusing the log spamming glitch though... continuing the basic wall bridge once you have it started is easy, It is just FAR too difficult to consistently get a basic wall to go out perpendicular off the top of the simple stairs though. Fiddling with this for hours and hours all while constantly being attacked by cannibals in such a high traffic area is not for the faint of heart. I do not recommend starting the sinkhole build anywhere near the cannibal camp and the waterfall because the cannibals are just relentless there. I would try anywhere around the sinkhole but there if you really wanna attempt it.

To always have your scuba light on you need it equipped then go into the water when the light turns on leave the water and immediately open your inventory. Boom the light stays on

So I've been using custom stairs to lessen the cost of a platform to build off of over the sinkhole. I put it just over head height with walls up top and a log holder below so when my friends join in multiplayer and start duping logs their contained in a room above and out of the way. You can then pick them up through the floor to keep duping. Just an idea

I think its worth asking, is the Z-coordinate actually height? lots of devs use y for height (and that was increasing as you ascended the ramp, decreasing as you descended) I know minecraft uses y for height as well.

Hey, if you build a base cannibals will approach you no matter what right? But what if you block all the patrol routes around it or build a wall thats a distance surrounding your base? Would that be completely safe or would it not work?

The #1 thing to learn is to not bring enemies back to your base. XD Applies to all games. Even military sims. Right? And then there are a few spots you can build where no cannibals or medium monsters ever go, without having to build somewhere inaccessible like this. Sort of defeats the purpose of a good base. If you get a worm or a girl, lead it away and kill it, go in a cave, or zipline or raft away from base.

I ran into problems with that ceiling causing anything above it to scatter. 80 levels of rock wall from the ocean reaches the cockpit hight but after 40 upon reloading it splits apart.

You seem to have good knowledge on the forest and i was wondering why the end boss is spawning on the surface i've saw 2 and killed one but i don't understand why it is spawning. Ps i already killed megan. The world i'm in is only on like day 55 or so but the megan boss you can see the girl like in the middle but this one is like a worm body but it doesn't behave like the worm it behaves like the end boss. Have you seen this before.

Yes when you finish the game with ending where you keep playing on the boss will spawn occasionally though it is a bit weaker. About 6 to 7 flare gun shots puts it down.

As far as I know, you have to beat a certain boss to finish the game, which may or may not be considered a cannibal. Depends on how you wanna view it. I don't really think the rest necessarily needs killing cannibals for the explanation stuff so I think it could be doable. But considering you have to get past many mutants, cannibals at once it could be really hard.

Yes, but in Skyrim, for some reason, sometimes Y is Depth and Z is Vertical. I've heard other games are like this too. Best way to test is stand in 1 spot and jump up and down while looking at the coordinates.
