These are mostly beginner tips, addressing a lot of the questions I get asked on videos. I struggled with the title because this video has an assortment of tips and tricks as well is that it was improvised. I was wrong about the cliff platforms, they can be attached to quite a few things: *Big trees *Cannibal huts *Giant tree stumps *Cliffs What are tips and tricks do you want to know?

@@janskopec1004 finishing the game will unlock creative mode. To use console in game, type developermodeon in the main menu and then press F1 in game to use comands like speedyrun on to run faster. I belive Farket is using Logitech sowtware to spam E with inhuman speed. I hope this answers your questions, please dont mind my english spelling, i'm a native german😁.

1:46 I’m pretty sure you can also place platforms on the sides of sacred trees, to make a cooler looking tree house. I saw it on one of Broadbents series.

Awesome stuff as always Farket! A VERY essential one you forgot imo: You can use custom stairs as very cheap platforms f.e. as a Balcony. Start building it at a high elevation and finish the other end just a tiny bit above the level where you began. Now you have an extremely cheap and customized platform! Thx for catering to your German audience btw! lol

My German is a bit rusty but it switched on as soon as I heard it. You and Outer Middle Show are the reason why I know 65% of the games mechanics. I'm super stoked for SotF, so much so I busted out and dusted out my gaming rig. I've been on PS4 for a while.

Outer Middle Show is hot garbage with the cringey outro jingle and putting himself in God mode to show where weapons are yet still killing everything like he's badass at the game😂🤣 not to mention how every weapon video he has says *updated location * even if the item hasnt been moved ever🤣😂 After Outer Middle tried to take a fellow forest streamer down by using his platform to call Broadbent a cheater he can take a frickin hike and the ONLY reason he apologized about that whole thing was because alot of the community was ready to drop that guy like the sack of potatoes he is.

I build on an island near the sailboat. No one can get to you on an island, so its safe and turtles and fish are in abundance.

xMarco Mel Go for a forest close to some fertile lands and once you have your base set make a zipline to connect them.

Marco: My main base is on the small island just North of the Anchor Cove. On the hill above the beach is a Cannibal Tree. I've never been attacked on the island and there is plenty of food along the beach, plus lots of rabbits and lizards on around the beach to the rowboat cove. My first build is a raft with one log holder and one stick holder. Then I build a zip line from the hillside out to the island to send logs out. I slowly build it. Go up to the Cannibal Tree and turn slightly right past the big rocks and you'll find a hole cave entry for lots of stuff. Lots! But be ready to fight with fire sticks and/or the flare gun... Not hard, but there are some cannibals down there.

I just found out away to keep your rebreather light on after you get out of the water as soon as you leave the water immediately hit your touch pad and exit out of your inventory that will cause it to stay on I don’t know if any one has discovered this or not if not than I hope this will be useful for all who see this

Yes, you can cut holes. You can also cut holes in other things to make them go away. Use the mouse wheel to adjust the size of the hole to be cut.

Can the natives climb rope? and can they go down cliffs? I love this game, and I picked a really good spot by the two islands so far the natives haven't noticed me, but when I went by the yacht they spotted me so I started creating defenses. I still don't think they know where my actual camp is.

It’s sometimes very hard to find the spot to insert the materials. If you have the UI(the thing that shows you progress of your structure) popping up as you try and it still won’t insert then maybe report. I’d have to see what you’re doing to be sure though.

Acentrix Gaming It's not that the UI shows but it doesn't allow me to introduce the logs, but that the UI won't appear as I'm carrying the logs; at a point, the UI wasn't appearing then I dropped my logs without moving the camera, and it appeared in the same spot.

FYi cannibals will walk through doors, they do this all the time in our base which has 6 normal doors. Quite shoking to find this out the hard way, we had to abandon the base because of that.
