I’ve been doing this for years. If u don’t have extra wire you can do the same thing with chicken wire fence.

This may be a dumb question, so forgive me if so. How exactly did you secure the hog wire to the ground? I have metal posts/fencing so im trying to see what's the best way to make this work. Thanks for any advice.

@@henryandtosha6721 good question and the video may not have shown it. I used strips of 1/4, but they only lasted two, three years. If I were to do it again, I would use composite... and cover it with mulch. I probably put three or four new bags of mulch a couple times a year

Our dogs would just jump over it especially using your rain guard to jump up on. Ps. You should put down grass on top of hog wire for your dog

Because one of my children is highly allergic. But let me ask you this question, if an animal is given a choice to be indoors or out.... Where would they go.? We also own a place with 30 acres and she has more freedom to run, chase my kids on four-wheelers, and roam. More freedom than any other dog I know...

@@moomski21 posted the video to give people ideas on how to secure and safely contain dogs that dig or jump. In my situation, one of my children is allergic , so the dog stays outside. We also own another place with 30 acres where she can chase the kids on four wheelers and roam off leash with no restrictions for days at a time.. Has more freedom than any other dog I know.
