gold tip spine charts account for 100 grain, 125 grain, and 140 grain point weights.

Actually, when you drew the bow, 29-1/2" was at the front face of the riser (1:38 into the video). If you cut to 29", your blades could easily make contact with the riser as it would be 1/2" inside riser. Why not just put the bow on a drawboard with the arrow and mark the arrow with the bow at full draw on the drawboard (actually mark about 1/4" beyond the front of the riser to account for a little overdraw after hitting the draw stop)?

So your arrows don't have to be cut to the end of the riser to shoot broadheads. You can shoot expandables, or even some small-medium sized fixed blades where the head sits between the rest and the end of the riser. If the arrow is spined correctly, you shouldn't have blades contacting the riser. And we don't show using a draw board here because it's going to be more common for people doing this work to NOT have a drawboard. This is intended to show how you can find your arrow length using the most common tools people would have.

I have a similar setup matews halon 32, also shooting rampages. 61 lbs/28 in draw. What do you shoot for a broad-head for whitetails? Are you personally more concerned with f.o.c or speed? And should you add any extra weight to the arrow since its roughly 370 grains?

After watching this video I decided to see what happened on my Halon 32-6 at 60#. I shot 5 unfletched arrows at about 8 feet. All rotated left. I then fletched 3 arrows with a left helical and 3 with a right helical and shot them with Slick Trick Viper Tricks. All the right helicals grouped with my field points. The left helicals were 3 to 4 inches off at 50 and 2 to 3 off at 30. If the left's should be more accurate, do I need to re tune or make adjustments.

Fletchings can mask a lot of tuning problems. Do some bareshaft tuning to see if your bow and arrows are tuned properly.

Do the same principles apply to building a target arrow?
@LancasterArcherySupply

Unfortunately, the answer is yes and no. Some target arrow shafts come in varying spines. In that case, refer to the chart, but point weight must be factored in as well. If you use a heavy point, that will weaken the spine. Some target arrow shafts - namely, the fat indoor shafts - only come in one spine, so you don't have a choice in spine with those. You will affect spine through overall length and point weight to get the arrow to tune out of your bow.

Just wondering on an semi-unrelated note if someone buys bare arrow shafts from you guys how much does it cost to have wraps, veins and inserts put on? Also do you have to buy these components listed above separately? Just asking because I’d like to have custom arrows made but am hoping for it not to break the bank
