So lovely to find Linjer. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I was looking to find something special for my daughter as a graduation gift and the heart necklace is absolutely perfect 💝

The point about personal style is so, so important. I started building my capsule jewelry collection a few years back and I thought that classic, dainty jewelry was the way to go. Well, it was really pretty, but it didn't feel like me. Turned out I like bolder pieces with a boho vibe. So, now I'm rebuilding my jewelry collection and I love it. I'm taking my time, like you, but slowly I'm getting a capsule jewelry collection I actually love ❤

Another great video thank you, I am currently only working with a curated jewelry collection and I LOVE IT! So much better than when I had a massive cabinet full of (to be fair ) far too many choices of costume and precious jewelry items. I appreciate my small collection and they actually get worn now which is ideal. For reference my collection is gold and I have : one matching necklace and earring set, one medium hoop and four rings. Most of these are family heirloom pieces that I actually adore wearing and they remind me of women from my life that I love. Also you look stunning as always x where is that cute top from btw?

looooooove this! I have that same feeling of appreciation for pieces now too vs when my jewellery box was overflowing with all sorts. I think vintage pieces carry extra meaning right? There's such a story too them, even more so if they're family owned. The top is from Reformation, and merci xx

Nice. I have some beautiful pieces that I never wear because they are too dressy and I don’t really go anywhere - except walking my dog. Most of my jewellery is silver and my favourite pieces are earrings. I wear earrings every day. I only wear pendants or necklaces in the summer. I make jewellery so most of my pieces are experiments or I’ve bought them from other makers whose work I love (I have far too many pieces but if I’ve made it myself I can always put it in my scrap pot for recycling). The beauty of jewellery is that it always has a value. A friend came to buy some of my tools last week. While I was showing her how one of them worked I tried her ring on and ended up buying it as part of a trade against the thing she was buying. It’s quite a statement piece and she made it. I’ve worn it every day since then - turns out I can’t have too many pieces of jewellery when they’re made by hand by someone I admire.

yes I used to be exactly the same! And then you convince yourself to keep them because they cost money right? Even though you don't wear. That's amazing you make jewellery, the dream being able to create exactly what you want

@@JessicaRoseWilliams occasionally I go back through my very old sketches and think I could make it now … occasionally I do but not often. The friend who came to buy the tools also took a lot of earrings and big cuff bangles to put in the gallery she helps to run. She sent me a photo of the display and they look great. I’m so grateful because it was all just packed up in a box in my studio
