Starting from the wall and lowering it down progressively is I think the best and safest way to build strength we need for chaturanga dandasana. Thank you so much for this video.

Thank you very much!!!, This was just perfect. I understand that there's a lot of wonderful people that are in a really good shape or have a nice body strength... But there are people like me who need to work a little more with there straight before trying chaturanga. Merci beaucoup !!!

Hey! I super appreciate the help! I'm still in my first year of Yoga practice, and my brain (and upbringing) tell me I have to go for the hardest poses. It is so encouraging that you are teaching how to build up strength to get to where I want to be!

This is hugely helpful, thank you! For those that don’t have bolsters, I just use one of my fluffiest pillows from my bed. The pillow gives me confidence to push myself a little more each time without being afraid of hurting myself.

Hi Amber thank you so much for your breakdown of chuturanga especially starting against the wall & progressively lowering. I desperately need to fix my technique as I've gotten terrible shoulder neck muscle pain I think, from doing it incorrectly. The bolsters are a fantastic idea thank you 🙏

Rotate your arms such that your triceps point back like you're opening the inside of your elbows while at the same time pushing up with your thumbs while going down. Watch some videos by Yogi Matt on it. I cracked it. I repeatedly kept looking for the technique

Thanks so much! Very helpful. I am struggling with this pose. And you are so right. Knees, chest chin is such a different pose/method for getting into chaturanga - and my body refuses to do it. Have any tips? Is it that I am too tight? It seems like an impossible feat. I would love a video on it.

Thank you! I watched another lady break down sun salutation A and she talked about doing ( and demonstrated) chaturanga properly which I then realised was something I wasn’t getting right( lifting my bum first). I have massive heavy boobs which I don’t really see on many yoga teachers and I thought they were the problem! ( they attempt to smoother me in some other upside down poses😂😂). Your explanation to build strength and integrity has been received with much appreciation by me 🙏🙏
