How to build Tacoma truck bed drawers for camping and overlanding.

In this video I start the Tacoma Build. I built super simple truck bed drawers using plywood, paneling, 2x2’s and some nylon furniture sliders. Now that the drawers are done, the next step will be adding a folding extension to make the platform longer so I can sleep on it when camping. I have more limited room than I did with the van build so I have to get a little creative. I can’t wait to do some adventuring and camping with the Tacoma truck build. Thanks for all the support! I am leaning toward the rightline truck tent. The soft topper folds down and rests up against the cab. The truck bed tent should go right over the bed with the topper folded down from all the research I've done.

Made my own end cover with lift gate open and tailgate down, gained about 2 ft more length plus I put screens in it and zippered doors at end with screens in those. I think its Colorado Backcountry that had a really cool solid extension that is so awesome. ..

Love the furniture glides, way cheaper than full drawer slides for like $500. What size 2 x did you use for the frame? 2x10 I guess.
