I’d suggest you do a whole marine detail series. Like a few other people mentioned, there is some marine detailing on KZbin, but not on a channel as large as yours.

I couldn't agree more pan. Get it done on the very first day it possible . I coated my SUV the first week i bought it brand new then sprayed it heavily and then changed all the fluids in the drive line to complete high grade synthetics. Excellent video pan!! 👍🏻🇨🇦.

I remember years ago cleaning the aluminum hull of my dad's bass boat before waxing it. Talk about a job! It was good for about a 5 mph increase at the top end, though.

You noticed an increase in top end speed? Pretty cool. Imagine with an actual marine grade coating instead of a traditional wax. It would likely be even better.

I live in NC on the coast and just had a detailer do my 2021 Sea Born 2121FX with Starke Yacht the Thor series and after many hours of work they did it came out beautiful!! The did hull to below the water line and deck and bright work and T top every where!! I'm happy !!

First!!!!! From Phoenix EOD the Kronos ceramic coating is also marine grade which can be applied on cars and both types of marine coatings (yacht and gel coat)👌

Im happy you made this video. Im getting calls for boat detailing and i took a quick class with Stark Yacht Care they seem to have all the things needed for boat detailing, but I also watch Drake's Detailing Channel since he's the only one i find to have the most consistent videos and tips and tricks for boat detailing. Maybe check them out and I would love to have you show more boat/rv detailing videos!! I was actually close on detailing a plane for Jet Blue recently so maybe planes??? I really learn a lot from you.

Maybe one day! But my main passion is cars for sure. But for pro detailers in areas with customers that have boats, RVs and planes, it can be a very lucrative business.

Nasty water spots on a boat in salt water are inevitable. Wax protection never did last long enough, this might be the solution! Great video.

Yeah coatings have much more durability and resistance to chemicals compared to traditional waxes.

It changes nothing. Use the method you feel most comfortable with. People mostly use the cross hatch pattern, but we see more and more use the circular motion. The only important thing is to ensure proper and EVEN coverage. How you apply it is purely a personal taste kind of thing.

As boats don't go on the road, there shouldn't be much decontamination to do, but perhaps a light clay before polishing, if you are going to polish.

From my understanding no but a boat ceramic can be used on a car.

Not sure about that. Marine coatings typically focus on resistance to salt water and other marine specific contaminants, so I doubt a car coating would do as good, and also some car coatings aren’t designed for gel coat finishes so the bond wouldn’t be great.
