Thank you very much, I had a completely terrible method that caused the texture to have a color that didn't match

A few points if I may suggest : using just a multiply + vector 4 nodes, and nothing else. Let me explain : Multiply will do the job as long as the color your multiply over it is close. You can use a grayscale texture instead of a colored one (when possible, like with this wooden planks, reddish color isn't useful if you intend to tint that later). Then the multiply by float is too much as well, since you can specify more than 1 in the Value channel of your vector4 color to do the same effect ;)

What you described is very useful if you want to completely remove all color information - like perfectly painted surfaces for example. I will probably use it in my project. But keeping the original 3-color texture maybe useful if you want to see all the richness of colors in original material texture and lerp it with tint color. This way you still have all the original subtlety of colors and yet can also tint it for look like stained wood.

How can you only make a hue color change on one color channel? For example. When using Photoshop, you can select Hue Shift Control for Red, Blue, Green, Magenta, Yellows, Cyan. How can we break those channels apart from the Master RGB and control them individually? Thanks a lot and keep rocking, cheers

Not sure if you’ve already done this, but a tutorial on how to make textures align? I cannot figure it out.

Heyy Matt Aspland Love your video I want to create a game with a main outside level and some interior ambient levels. The idea of the game is look like some games, like Silent Hill1,2,3, where do you press a key/button in front of a door and you get teleported right to the other side of that wall, without any opening door animation, but a black and quick load screen. Question for me tho,do you need teleport to next level(teleport to next door) or you need stay in the same level(teleport to next door)? Can you show us some us some tutorial? I love Silent Hill games thats why i like to make one

I do this for my own project which has the outside world (persistent) and for every building, their interiors are their own streaming level. So when player clicks on a door in the main world, that door loads the appropriate interior streaming level (all behind a loading screen) and when that level is loaded, the player is then teleported to the player start inside that streaming level. Very easy to setup.
