I'm pretty sure this is the same procedure for the Suzuki Forenza. .. Same floating strut system... nice work...👍

Allowing the piston rod to rotate while tightening the nuts may damage the absorber

I changed the control arms but still there is a bad sound fro the suspension I'm not sure if it's the strut mount because even if I push the car up and down from the front I get that sound.

Should have been left a little loose at the top to line up strut with knuckle properly, then tighten at the top last.

Wow: 12 minutes in near-realtime... so why am i being quoted £100 at any of my local garages to just replace the strut mount (£30 for the part)?! Crazy! Gonna give this one a try myself now

Hello there, thank you for the useful video. When I push my front strut joint (after removing the wheels) upward when the car is lifted, the strut mount inside the hood is getting lifted too like 3-5 inches. Is that an indication of worn out/faulty strut mounts? Than you!

Thanks for the video! I have to do this to my mother's car this week and looks simple. Impact tools have to make it much faster. Do you check torque settings or just tighten?
