Great diy brotha 🤘 For anyone looking for a “top tier” oil to use, Motul XCess Gen 2 and Shell Helix have some of the best specs when you look closer at the details such the HTHS and low SAPs. Hell even Mobil 1 and Castrol have better specs then LM. Don’t want to bash them, but tbh soon as I switched from LM on two different cars, my car felt better, temps were more consistent, and may be placebo but swear my engine is quieter

2 other great oils would be Amsoil and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. Amsoil is a little better but more expensive. The Ultra Platinum is almost as good but much more affordable.

Sorry for late reply! Can’t go wrong with their additives to only enhance the performance! I’ve heard good things about it but never used it myself, and glad the vid could help! Oil changes really aren’t bad on these cars

How much force do you use to make sure the drain plug is tight?

Use a 1/4 or 3/8 ratchet. When tightening, make sure it’s not loose or leaking. No need to get it “gorilla tight.”

@@F80Ho found out from another knowledgeable person that apparently the 6.5L is a synthetic limit. Meaning, that's the limit because the oil level sensor detects that it's the max at that point. However, there is a kit that "gives" an extra 0.75L simply by raising the sensor height from where it's positioned by like 3/4" higher 😅
