Thanks. Super simple DIY job. I'm going to do mine this weekend. Bought it used with 51k miles and I have no idea if this service was done previously.

Nice job! Question ... what is the bracket you have running up your A-pillar? Is that part of your Bar Light? If so, what brand? Looks nice!

Great job, how much different fluid does each take? Or do you fill it all the way up to the hole?
@walden62724 ай бұрын
Up to when it starts leaking out the hole. Then it's full.

Awesome Video!!! I have a 2022 JLUR, and my manual states to use higher viscosity (not gonna look it up) in the rear. Is it ok to use the same in both dif's? BTW, that is a very nice looking Jeep!!!!

Actually tried this today. My 2022 JLUR does not have drain plugs in the front or back. Looks like Stelantis is cutting costs!!
@saljablo2767Ай бұрын
They claim they removed the drain plugs as a weak point when on the trail or wheeling.

Great video. How often are you supposed to change this?

Check your owner's manual 30 to 50 thousand miles I think is a good amount

Why does nobody wear latex gloves when doing this? Just pitch them once you are done checking the magnet for chunks. Who wants gear oil all over their hands? That crap isn’t easy to clean.

It comes off pretty easily actually. But I agree, gloves would have made this much better
