Found this : softer side If the filter you're using has a plastic mesh side, you'll have to insert the mesh facing into the device and the softer side facing out. If you see a tab, you can simply fold it to face out of the device to ensure simple removal the following month.Aug 30, 2022

Thanks for your channel. The only way that we knew that there was a filter is the very poor instructions that came with the machine mention changing it monthly. However there was no indication to tell us where it was. Thanks again for your help. (We're located in Northern New York State near the Canadian border)

I find this fascinating, because my sleep dr recommends every 2-6 *weeks* for my airsense 10. Maybe because I live in a desert?

I don’t know why but where I have to put the filter I have to take it out and then insert the filter is not the same model you show and I am not sure if the way I inserted is ok or not. I hope you can help me with this believe me the company that I am supposed to have service don’t always answer the phone and sometimes I don’t know what to do thank you for your help

I see different infos in regards to how often I should change the filters. 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months. Does it depend on the kind of filter?

I was wondering why I was not getting a good night's sleep. It was begging to feel like the days before I was on the machine. Don't talk about the cough and sore throat. I hadn't changed the filter in 2 years. What made it worse is about 3 weeks ago, I checked it and mistakenly flipped it. Worse thing I could have done. This morning I woke up feeling fresh and well rested. Change your filter.

Are you suggesting that the machine only works if the air is clean? Maybe you could eliminate all sources of indoor air pollution, and breathe clean air without the machine.

Our filters are the same both sides.. I’d go smooth toward the machine

@@SleepRightAustralia Mine aren't - one side of the disposable is deeper than the other. Depending on which side you put in, there will be less room between the two filters if the side with the tab is flush or not. Also, I found the flush side with the little arrows marked on the other end, when put to the inside, stay put - the other way, they sometimes just drop out when I take them out. But tab w/ flush side inside makes the two filters to be closer. Have been trying forever, it seems, to find out which side is the side that should face the reusable filter. So still not sure.

Alma, once a month is a good guide if you are sensitive. It is worth even flicking it out once a week.
