It's great to see a video about how to style jewelry. I have a strand of pearls that I want to wear more, since pearls have been trending, but I need ideas on how to style it so that it doesn't give old-fashioned "old lady" vibes. Do you think you could make a video about this? I also wanted to mention that I was happy to see you wearing yellow gold pieces with that very cool-toned pink blouse, even though white metal would be more complimentary. I have many yellow gold pieces that I've collected over the years and I struggle with wearing them since my clothing is all cool-toned. Your example just shows we should just wear our pieces! Thanks for a great video, Nancy. I learned so much! First, silver with purple, blue and green, gold with red, orange and yellow. Didn't know that! I been told to wear silver when I stopped coloring my hair and that hadn't worked well for me. Now I know why. Also the simpler the outfit the bolder the jewelry. Didn't really know that either , or if I did, I had forgotten it. And I definitely didn't know about using a color of a print and bringing it out in the earrings! What about neutral colors such as camel, black and white? Should that be silver or gold? Thanks again for a learning experience.

Love this! Less is more and I like to also use jewellery to draw the eye away from my bust and toward my face or hands so I like to use statement earings and bangles or a chunky short necklace and rings. If I have a higher neckline, I use longer necklaces to divide the bust area in the same way that a v neckline does but I have to be careful with the type of necklaces I can use for this purpose; if they are chunky they can have the opposite effect but it really depends on the outfit.

And also wish the Lilly P would have a jewelry line for petites. Their earrings n bracelets n pendants are gorgeous but too huge thus out of proportion for petite customers.

The scale of the jewelry will make a big difference. So what might be considered medium-sized for a woman 5'8" and taller might be "statement-sized" for you. PS. Stay tuned. I love jewelry & certainly have to remind myself to not over accessorize. Regarding earrings..if you have your ears pierced, you need to wear earrings even if they are very subtle. You can see the empty holes otherwise & you look undone. Almost like you forgot to put them in. Thanks for your informative videos.

I just got some diamond earrings for Christmas. So I had m granddaughter put them in my second hole in my ear. And I’m hoping to keep them in. I have t tried to sleep with them yet. So we’ll see tonight. I can wear them in the first whole. They look good there too. But I have a hard time getting anything in my second hole myself. I always pair my jewelry down. When I wear neutrals I will wear a necklace I’ve had for years. My daughter gave it to me. It’s a gold necklace that has a pendant that says #1 mom. And I love it. It has black hills gold on it. I also have a bracelet with all the same colors in it. I’m not sure if it fits me. I got it from my husband’s aunt. I need to try it. And if it doesn’t fit I need to give it to my daughter. She loved his aunt too.
