Alcohol-based cleaners are safe to use to clean credit cards and won't harm the numbers or ink. Rubbing alcohol is fine to use.

People might come at me, but I feel that phones can get germier than a toilet seat because people take them into the bathroom to occupy themselves while in there. I can't imagine touching my phone (or anything) after I've not only touched the toilet seat and handle, but after wiping myself. Then, using your phone all day after doing this transfers what's now on the phone to your fingers, desk, other people, your computer, your food, your face, your mouth, and so on. It's almost like not washing your hands after using the bathroom because you are now touching and transferring urine, feces, bacteria, etc. to everything you touch until you disinfect your phone (and stop taking it into the bathroom). Imagine using someone else's phone, knowing there's a chance that there are bodily fluids on it and the bacteria that come with them. It's truly unsanitary. Anyways, Stan, thank you for doing a video on how to clean a phone.

I agree…phones can get really nasty, and most people normally hardly ever clean them. Probably the germiest thing we own.

Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) is considered safe to use on a credit card's magnetic strip and emv chip. You don't necessarily have to aggressively rub the card, just make sure you wipe down the entire card and the properties of the alcohol will do the rest.

i was sent paper credit cards and want plastic the paper ones collect all sorts of pollutants and cannot be cleaned much and i have a paper allergy the paper credit cards came with paper letter so annoying asking for plastic no matter what awesome video!
