Dear Helena, you can't believe how lucky I got this night, when I was lying without sleep and thinking about what to say to a man, after a very unpleasant conversation. And I found this video!!!! If I hadn't seen it I would have reacted with a lot of negative emotions. Instead of it, I tried to calm down and follow your advice. So I told him how I was feeling, no blaming, just opened my heart, all things that I had to say a long time ago. And he opened his, too!! I didn't ask for any explanation, but he fully explained himself. And it was the most important conversation for our 3 months relationship. Now we understand each other so much better. Yesterday I thought that we would break up. Thank you!

So important to feel good and nurture those inner feelings and expressing it outwardly without being arrogant or pretentious.

Great video (as usual)! One suggestion if you don't mind: It would be so profetional if you allow displaying the main idea/advice/step so we can follow what you are saying effectefliy without getting distracted. Keep rocking girl!

Thanks Helena! This is great starting place. I definitely need to write some feelings down. I am still at a loss for the words that fit my feelings. I need the “feely vocab” lol

I have been watching a few of your videos and I love them. I’ve been with my man for 15 years and I want to be the best wife for him. You have a great advice for all women - Married/Dating/Single.

Great video Helena but my problem is that I am unable to speak and give him a compliment (which apparently he loves a lot) though he always complimented me. I am unable to say a word until one time he asked me clearly to tell him something nice and still I wasn’t able. That’s my main problem “I can’t compliment him” ☹️

It may be too late for that relationship (hopefully not!), but either way it's not too late for you! My input is to practice saying it yourself while by yourself. Start with something simple and build up to an even bolder compliment. Maybe get in a private place and close your eyes, first envisioning him there. If you need to say it just to yourself then do, then build up to imagining him there. And each time you do this, also imagine him having a passive reaction and it going well! Only allow yourself to dream of it being happy! When you start to go negative, stop and turn it happy. Imagine yourself being strong enough to say this to him. And feel free to ask yourself why you're scared, and when you do, definitely be aware of your emotions! Emotions are good, so embrace them! If tears come, don't didn't them but embrace them. Realize you are a person with feelings and those are good! Enjoy them all, including the happy possibilities and the things that make you sad. And just keep doing this til you get there. It's not just okay to be afraid our happy, but those are good things!

I do like to get in touch with my masculine side bc i have more masculine elements to me, that said i am also quite a feminine person, i am very emotional and sensitive, but i also overthink alot and live in my head. Ive been dating this guy for several months and he told me that he doesnt want to date me anymore bc he doesn’t feel romantically connected to me like we should after dating for a certain amount of time (thats in his words) i have wounded feminine energy and i think that it definitely has something to do with the relationship i have to my mother and the relationship she had to hers. There is wounded feminine energy and expressing and feeling emotions has always felt a bit unsafe and anxiety/shame riddled. I feel like my trust issues have put walls up for me being open and being able to flow with my emotions rather than over think them. Or demand things out of fear of abandonment (i have been working on asserting my needs and communicating prior to him saying this. So this leads me to wanting to know how i can learn to connect more to the heart space (in a safe space) bc whenever I do come to that space there is anxiety and uncertainty. Thankyou this was helpful ❤️

Dear, thank you. How to communicate pain and disappointment to him, because he doesn't ask and reassure on me? I feel I want to cry, I hope he feels my pain and takes care of my heart. Please tell me the right and effective way to make him impressed and caring.

I hve a question. Should we express our emotions wid reasons? Like i am feeling excitedd bcoz my sister is coming over to see me. Or i am feeling relaxed because....etc etc?
@HelenaHartCoaching6 жыл бұрын
Great question! You can do that, although try not to go into EXPLAINING yourself (the word "because" can trigger you to start to explain something, which just keeps you up in your head). Try saying something like, "I'm feeling excited to see my sister today..." When you get into the habit of expressing your feelings this way, you'll start to feel the connection deepening between you and a man.

I like the video on getting in touch with your own heart but I sometimes have a hard time to express those feelings inside to let anyone know I am upset or unhappy. It is like an emotional rollercoaster. I will feel super excited and then scared or not know where I fit in. Does this make sense? Why do we have to be so complicated with all our emotions?
