Just wondering if your battery grip was worth it? I hear they can fry components in the camera causing a catastrophic malfunction.

Well I used it up until last year when I switched to the zve10 and didn't experience any issue. This is the first time I've heard about it frying components.

Then you try starting over again. Start with Removing the batteries, wait a while, then repeat the steps in the video. I hope this helps

Sad to hear that. Might leave the batteries out, of the remote and grip for a while, change the channel on the remote and try again. Hope this helps.

@@HubertBland Hey, what I did was in my camera settings I activated using the shutter button to record a video so whenever I'm in the video mode, once I hit the shelter button on the remote, it starts recording. Hope this helps

Hey! If the steps in the video didn't work, you can try disconnecting the battery grip, take out all the batteries and leave it for a few minutes for it to reset before you try again. You can also try changing the channel of the remote also. Was never able to get channel "00" to work for me consistently. I hope this helps and your remote works!

Sorry about that, if my solution didn't work for you, you can try other methods, there's a few I watched that worked for others but didn't work for me. Those are the ones I saw before making my video. Maybe their's will work for you. Hope it ends up working.
