Thank you very much for this. I will normally spend 15 pounds thrice a week at a Nigerian restaurant just to enjoy egusi soup!! Now i have a whole pot of egusi soup sitting right in front of me and i marvel at how relatively easy it is to prepare!!! Nigerian mothers, please teach you sons how to cook, he will thank you later.

Thank you for the recipe. I'm in Cyprus and I have never cooked Egusi before so I tried it yesterday and followed the instructions and it came out wonderful. I posted on my Snapchat and in less than an hour 8 of my friends came over and finished it... No one believes till now that I was the one that cooked it because it was amazing. Thank you so much!

No matter what you said in your new videos on Egusi soup . This one you made years ago is my best Egusi soup . I have made it every time I want to eat Egusi soup and it has come out lovely snd delicious though I cook the Egusi a bit longer

hey dear Kpomo is actually Cow skin. In the US, apart from African stores, we get it in International stores (Spanish/Asian) :)

Interesting recipe. I don't use onions or fresh peppers. I would Lotus bean but we don't really get it here in jand. About the television show. But if 'we' have our own networks, then we get to show what we want.

It would be great if u can measure the melon like for example 3 spons or 3 glasses and for how long it has to fry, how much water you have to put... maybe one glass etc by the way love it

there are so many ways to make egusi... you just have to find the one that suits your own palate... this is a very easy and simple egusi which turns out great... I love the fact it is not time consuming like some can be.. someone also asked what egusi is, it is grinded pumpkin seed. thanks for sharing this sisiYemmie
