Amazing! I came for this comment!!!! I am also American and my husband is Nigerian. I made it some time ago for my husband, which he said it was "okay", but the type of okay that is followed by a "but", lol. After getting the stew down for him he asked me to try to make the Egusi again. Here I am... 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I feel more confident following this recipe after seeing your comment. Thank you.

I love this recipe. I like to do 50% spinach and 50% kale and since kale is a bit tougher than spinach, it gives it a slight crunch. Which I love.

I’m an American also & always looking for different soups/stews to try. Especially different countries. I’ve watched people eating this with fufu & it just looks delicious. I ordered all the ingredients except the fresh veggies & meat that I’ll buy. Not too sure about cow feet, dry fish… I’ve made African peanut soup w/sweet potato and that was incredible. Thanks for sharing & I’ll def try it ❤

Waow waow it's, all I can say! I tried ur, mthd and my egusi came out perfectly! For the first time in my life, my egusi soup is, looking like, party or restaurant egusi soup and I m 43yr! Like u said it's, the gently pouring in of the egusi paste ( don't stir, allow to cook for a while and then stir gently and carefully is the trick) previously mine will become smooth and the egusi soup will not have lumps . Thanks so much again

Wow that. the way that I will do my own to blended the Eugsi with small water on it. It will very smooth. Wow that the way exactly I am fixing my own with palm oil.I will use cow feet, chicken, fee, and cow skin. with koter thick fish on my Egusi soup. Then I will put small spinach inside of it ooh boy. it was really delicious and very delicious everybody complement me for that even some of my spanish friends requested for some from me I had directed to come and learn from You Tub channels so they will do it the way they will want it to be. I will take them to the African market and show them all the ingredients that are necessary to buy so they will fix their it their own .My dear your own is correct when I say perfectly correct it looks so good I feel like going there and eats it.The Nigerians can do it so perfect just like you thanks so much may God bless you ma.
