This is a favourite dish amongst our family, especially the ladies!! not sure why. Mung beans are so healthy just google it and you will find an abundance of health benefits to eating this amazing legume, but not only that it is also delicious. This recipe I have learnt from my amazing mum who has cooked it throughout my childhood and whenever she made it I always had seconds.
This dish must be accompanied by the yoghurt sauce as otherwise it will be too dry. If you don’t like garlic then this dish is simply not for you. I am cooking it with olive oil as it is healthier option otherwise you can use any other oil you like.
