Finding HEALTHY advice about how to be a good partner w/o using manipulation tactics is exactly what I needed 🎉 Thank you girl I hope my algorithm gets the message that I want to see more of this

This is so good, thanks for sharing and I agree with many of the nuggets you shared. I have been implementing a lot of what you shared, for example:- my tone of voice, listening without interruption, allowing long pauses, asking for clarification without jumping to conclusions, and I am seeing the benefits. Because in the beginning it was difficult getting him to open up, and what you are sharing is so true, men communicate differently than we do as women, and I know that my new approach is working, because he said to me recently, "babe, thank you for being my soft place, you make me feel so comfortable." Oh my gosh I cried afterwards, it made my day.

WOOWW! I would have cried too! That is beautiful. It sounds like your consideration of his differences is paying off. Thank you for sharing love.

Wow, thank you so much girlie ❤. I'm in preparation for meeting my kingdom spouse that the lord confirmed plenty of times and it's soon. Mostly, I have been around females with the job, home, family who are mid aged women etc. This really opened up my eyes to know what it really mean to be a receiver, a listener, have patience more on a deeper meaning. So, thank you for your wisdom and thank you lord ❤🙏🏽. I'm a black woman who desires an asian man

Thank you so much Dr Daf! There is actually some pertinent advice to use when interacting with my son. I’m learning to talk less and listen more when he is talking.

Thank you Dr Michelle ❤️🥰 you are the best role model I have. I will be practicing this on my boyfriend who struggles to express himself and put my emotional needs aside if it means I can have that connection with him in the long run..thank you 🥹🥰❤️🫂

Hi Dr. Daf. Thank you for this insight. I am taking notes because I need help in this area. It seems like there is a considerable amount of emphasis put on the woman to carry the mans feelings or even predict his reaponses as if we are responsible for managing their emotions. I love the pratical tips around empathy and the methods in having an intimate conversation, but when it comes to emotional intelligence, when do we expect our male partners to operate from that same place of love leading? When are we able to manage our emotions without needing to also manage his? This is why I need to work on this because it feels like some of what you described is like a mother to son relationship versus a partnership.

Smooches Michelle thank you again for a lovely video. I don't have a man yet but I do have an adult son and I use these practices on him. I don't always get it right but I'm consistent in trying to be his safe place and for the most part he knows that I am 💋

Hi Dr. Michelle! Thank you for this video, I really appreciate your channel! 🤍 Would you be interested in making a video about how to open up with your man? (That actually loves you) I’ve been working on my femininity and on being vulnerable but I still struggle sometimes on sharing my feelings and thoughts with him, even knowing that he’ll listen and support me.. Thank you 🥰
