This is by far the most straightforward tutorial here in KZbin. Thank you so much.

Hey Pat, Great Video. This was very helpful. Do you have a preferred Duration type? (Fixed duration and units, Fixed units, etc). also, what preference do you have regarding Percentage complete type?

Hi there! I don't really have a preferred as it depends on what the spec requires, or if it's cost and resource loaded. But generally my defaults are set to Fixed Duration & Units for duration type, and Physical for % complete.

Hi Pat, thank you so much for the video. But I have some issue here. I followed every steps of the video. After I added original duration column, all my activities are gone. Can you please explain me why? Thank you so much in advance.

A few things could have happened but I would imagine that there is a filter being applied, and when you added the column it refreshed your view and applied the filter. Try filtering for "all activities" and see if the activities come back.

How to highlight activities together on keyboard when we want to link activities?
@PJMScheduling2 жыл бұрын
I hold the "Ctrl" button on the keyboard, then click the activities in the sequence for how you want them linked. I talk about it in the following video and show you how to do it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYTSk3-KeaytZsk

It's a great video but you can't teach someone while using short cuts

The other series on building a schedule from scratch may be more helpful if the shortcuts are causing confusion: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6TSnXlvlruhm8k
