I'm an old school nail Tech. When I see anyone using the e- file around the cuticle I cringe. I never want to see dents in nails. I use the e-file on the nail itself but not around the cuticle. Love your channel. ❤️ I wish I had an educator like you showing me the tips and tricks.

Everytime I try to form out stiletto or almond shapes, they always tend to go upwards after I file. Not straight out to a point like they're supposed to. I feel like I follow directions, but apparently not bc they never look right 😂 lower arch always goes up towards the tip, it's never straight on the bottom. If that makes sense

Make sure you’re putting your form on so it comes straight out from the nail/sidewalls or even slightly angled downward. If you are doing an almond shape, it may need to start downward because when you pinch the end of the form, it tends to “lift” the end, making the nail tilt upward.

I bought an efile type online recently and it has different speed settings although you don’t know what rpm you’re at so I kind of have to eyeball it in a sense and it has a forward “F” and a reverse “R” option. My question is this: Which way do I run the file? Do I go against the direction of the bit turning or do I go the same way with the bit turning? Thanks!🙏🏻💕💅🏼

You work in forward if you are right-handed and reverse of you are left-handed.
