I am part of a non profit organization called Guardians of the Children, we support and advocate for kids who are victims of physical and sexual abuse. When a new family contacts us, we "adopt" the child and their siblings into our Guardian family. When we do this all Guardian members stand in a circle and hug a stuffed animal, and fill it with love. We then present this animal to the child. So if they are scared they can hug it and know they are protected, and if ever their animal runs out of hugs, and love we fill it back up. I am trying to learn to make amigurumi like this bear, and other animals so that they can be given to our kids. Thank you for making this video and sharing your pattern. I plan to make as many as i possibly can.

I love this I was searching for a large teddy bear but I was not able to find it anywhere when i saw it i was like 😢 I can't do this ,this is too hard But when i saw the video i was amazed as how easy it was to make This is my fav. Hello! I'm having trouble with the body portion of the bear. The bottom of the body keeps ending up pointed instead of rounded like in the tutorial. I'm double and triple counting my rows and stitch count for accuracy so that doesnt seem to be the problem. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hey there! I was confused too until I realized my mistake. So what you're actually supposed to do is single crochet 8 times, and then decrease 4 times in a row, and then finish with 8 more single crochet stitches. It'll the same for the next row. Crochet 6, decrease 4 times, and then crochet another 6

Can someone explain me how to make the foot?, its so confusing, bc on row 11 we have 24 stiches in total but in row 12 we have to sc 8 FOUR times???, and deacres???..but then there would not be enough stiches to do all that???... IM SO CONFUSED😭🙏
