FANTASTIC!!! I'm a macaron baker and this is the best pattern I've seen. I'm going small size but I'm thinking big plush yarn and making a macaron pillow too! You're an amazing pattern designer ❤

These are so adorable! The first time I had these delectable cookies was in Paris. Because of my Hubby’s work we go to France a couple times of year and we generally spend a few days in France as well as elsewhere, and we always visit our favourite bakery to pick up a selection of macarons. We are going back in June and I think, as I have plenty of cotton in happy colours, I will make the bakery owner a small pastry box of crocheted macarons. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous little pattern. 🙏❤️🏴

Excellent video! I'm into crochet for a few days only. With your instruction I'm able to make one. For some stitches I lowered down speed to 0.25x and follow your every motion.

I made several 'recipes'. Yours is the BEST! One downside for me is it is a bit too big. I only have medium weight yarn. I'm using 3.75mm hook. Do you have a smaller version?
@seaskysun19 күн бұрын
I also used medium weight yarn and used a 2.5mm hook. it's small

Great Video..... Thank You ❤❤❤ (Please tell me: could I use the same amount of crochet stitches, if , instead of this cotton yarn, I used acrylic DK knitting yarn (with its appropriately sized crochet) can I end up with a similar macaron shape???
@LittleCrochetFarm9 ай бұрын
Hey Cathy! Yes you can! Shape will be same but size will be bigger! And as you said, just adapt the crochet hook size! ❤️

So adorable! Any ideas of how I can turn it into a keychain? I’m a beginner (less than 2 months crocheting) So far I’ve made no sew cupcake as a pin cushion and the little elephant. You are a great teacher. I really appreciate you. Thank you ❤️
@LittleCrochetFarm Жыл бұрын
Hey Nina!!! Thank you!!! To make it into a keychain I suggest adding the keychain while you are crocheting, and after that, give it some extra sewing it. I have done the chubby pig as a keychain, you can check it out here kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWLWin6His6Jrs0

can you make a amigurumi with a thick yarn
@creativesoul1174 Жыл бұрын
It is OK if u don't want to do it
@LittleCrochetFarm Жыл бұрын
I have a little bit problem to find a good thicker Cotton yarn in my country. With a variety of colors. And to order for delivery here isn't a good option because they add huge taxes on top...so.. that is the reason preventing me to create bigger toys with a thicker yarn. But I'm trying to solve it!

These would look alot nicer with joined rounds...
@LittleCrochetFarm Жыл бұрын
I have to disagree! I prefer the seemless look from continuous rounds. Joined rounds leave a trace. But that is my opinion. You can easily crochet this macaron joining rounds if you prefer!
@oobiedoobs Жыл бұрын
@@LittleCrochetFarm Joined rounds do leave a trace, but there are ways to join them that is almost invisible. When creating stripes (like the 'cream' in this macaron), continuous rounds leave a jog which I find rather unsightly. I also don't like how slip-stitch or BPO/FPO rounds line up when done in the continuous rounds. But yes, it is all a matter of opinion. I probably will make this one with joined rounds. I have made quite a few different macarons in the past year (searching for the best pattern) so I do plan to try this one too. I haven't seen a pattern using the Back Post Slip Stitch before so I'm keen to give that a go.
@LittleCrochetFarm Жыл бұрын
@@oobiedoobs that is a very interesting observation! The BPO and FPO don't line very neatly. Let me know, if you remember, how it turned out when you give it a try! I'm curious!
