I made a medium pair using Patons Classic Wool worsted in dark grey and aran (cream). They fit nicely on my size 7 feet. I used about 1.25 balls of my main colour and about 0.25 of a ball of my accent colour. It took me 3 or 4 part time days per sock.

This is awesome; thank you! It is not difficult for a beginner crocheter (‘beginner’ meaning someone who has made 2-3 projects, not this being the first). If this is anyone’s first experience with crocheting, you should start with a scarf or a simple blanket :) This video will feel easier after you give your journey more of a start, before jumping into shaped crochet projects.

You could always crochet the "Foot" part longer until you have reached the length you need 🥰✨

Lovely tutorial! I was wondering - if I wanted the socks to be about 2-3 sizes bigger, would simply adding more rows in the foot work? Or would other parts need some adjustments too? Thank you! :)

You might need to adjust the rest of the pattern as well so it stays in proportion. You can also try knitting it with a chunkier yarn, which will change the gauge and automatically create a bigger end result. We would always advise to check your gauge prior to starting any work, just so you can see how the measurements might be affected. 🥰❤️

Hi Susana, well it's an intermediate project but with Anna's tuition, you could take it slowly, step by step! There are a few stitches in there that you might not have learned yet, but I suggest you watch through the video and decide if you could follow along. It uses few techniques and stitches that can be a bit tricky for beginner, but with the video and written pattern I am sure you will be absolutely fine. Also, challenge is good in crochet, great way to learn more stitches and techniques xx

Hey there, You can always amend the gauge of the yarn by using different materials ( yarn or hook) and with that change the measurements of the finished garment. It might also be worth checking some yarn which has a bit more flexibility to it ( So any wool mixed with Nylon for example could work really well whilst still keeping the finished garment stable) to make sure it feels comfortable. You can change the speed in the setting of youtube videos…

You can go on the settings in the video itself and change the speed of the video to see where your stitch is going and pause it to keep up with her. You can do this 😊😊
