You should tape around the hole to help the fiber glass from cracking or splinter. It also prevents scratches. A Dremel would have made the job much easier too.

Some green painters tape . I do tape the bottom of the jog saw

I purchase the correct hole saw size for the speakers I was installing. Took 30 seconds to cut and a lot cheaper than buying a new sabre saw.

Sweet I need a new jig saw anyway so worked out for my project and I got it on sale for $25 so it was a win win for me . Happy to hear that the hole saw worked out for your project great info 👍
