Excellent Video! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you researched - Millawdon Muscles Mountain Trick (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good one off product for learning an effective strength training program to get fast results minus the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my GF at very last got cool success with it.

I am old and have degenerative arthritis in my back. Started lifting a couple years ago. Just keep that form in check and don't allow it go out, you can do it. When you go so heavy you start pulling like a scared cat, that's when it gets dangerous. I started with 65 pounds sitting on plates so the height was right. I pulled 265 with perfect form 2 weeks ago. Yeah, that's not a huge deal, but I old, under 150 pounds, and have degenerative arthritis in my back. And my numbers keep creeping up. If i can, you can. You got this.

thanks, this is also one of the most dangerous exercises when done wrong, this can end your weight lifting career if done wrong, and it can happen at low weights. So people better get it right, I would even go as far as hiring a personal trainer, spend money to ensure a right technique from the start.

Doesn’t really matter who it’s coming from, it’s true for the most part. A few of the things he does and doesn’t do are detrimental. Just because he’s jacked doesn’t mean he knows what he’s talking about. For the most part, he has somewhat poor glute activation and doesn’t really hit several points that are vital to a good deadlift. That includes but is not limited to core bracing, bar over mid foot, proper scapular position, correct footwear, back angle, head and eyes, pulling slack out of the bar before you pull, squeezing glutes to neutralize low back at the top, and correct grip width. Take it from me, I deadlift over 550.

@KEVINJOBY
@KEVINJOBY 9 жыл бұрын
Renzo Tuano Yes, thats still fine. Its similar to when your biceps hurt after doing a lot of curls. The muscle fibers are destroyed and get reattached, making them stronger. its the similar way from your lower back. As long as your form is correct, you wont have to worry about it being an injury

Definitely normal! Especially if it's your first time working out. The crucial part is keeping your back straight, once you start to hunch your back, thats when injuries can happen. Make sure that the force exerted is coming from your legs, and not your lower back!

Sorry mate but there was some terrible advice there... 1) "Head up" doesn't keep your spine neutral, it does the exact opposite and risks injuring your cervical spine by placing your neck under enormous pressure. 2) "The final movement is from the lower back". Nooooo! Do NOT hyperextend your lumbar spine! The final movement should be squeezing the glutes together. C'mon bro, seriously... Take those fingerless gloves off and pick up a strength training book!

Great note. Also the hands should be just against the knee for proper support while moving upwards. Another one he is a bit to close to the bar

Actually people have different curvatures. Tucking the chin in rounds some peoples lower backs! Especially if they have a little lordosis. I see this a lot in women though.
